Yesterday night, an unexpected tragedy happened when Flight 635, (AK/AKF635, callsign FREEDOM 635), operated by a newly acquired Boeing 757-200, reg. KR-F63621, landed at Yeager Airport during 26kn crosswinds and visibility of 1km and moderate rain. The aircraft, according to witnesses and ATC staff, the aircraft landed on the grass multiple times and went back into the runway, then doing a go around attempt then slammed into the hangar, owned by Hakdog Aerospace for aircraft assembly operations and the trees, killing 55 including the pilots and injuring 15 and 1 on the ground. The plane broke into 2 and the fuselage and cockpit was shattered. Airport fire trucks and ambulances arrived on the site of the crash. Post-crash fire was brought under control at 8:15. The assembly hangar is due to be fixed for the cost of KRK25,000,000.
The speed of the aircraft on the time of impact was 124kn. The aircraft left Volgograd, Russia at 1:37pm then arriving at Prosperity-Wright International Airport (WGT/CWGT) on a stopover at around 6:10pm (Pacific Standard Time +10) and landing at its final destination at 7:15 pm and finally crashing at 7:16 pm. Date of crash was 4/18/21.

Operational History

The aircraft was originally manufactured on 1991 as N433FD and delivered to it's original owner, United Airlines. Then in 2010, the aircraft was converted into a freighter and bought by FedEx and flew with the airline for 11 years. 3 months ago, the plane was sold, converted back into passenger service by Krakabloan state owned aircraft manufacturer Hakdog Aerospace and was acquired by AeroKrak, and reregistered as KR-F63621, along with 12 other B757s bought from other aircraft leasing and sales companies. It flew for AeroKrak for 3 months until it's crash.
