Need help with the following problem.

19.8k RandomUser09  3.1 years ago

So basically I am having some troubles with my Heli.

Problems.

1) Stability:

When it lifts off its spins like anything and when I put the rotar blade to reverse rotation it flips in the air and gets crash.

2) Center of mass:

The tail part. There is literally no weight in the tail part but still it touches the ground.

3) Manuverablity:

Bruh when I try to do Manuver the same problem happens.

I tried a lot figuring it out but couldn't :(

Tell me what to do or help me by fixing it. (plz)

Any other questions? It’s a bit trial and error with the CoM, but once you put it perfectly on the centerline of the rotor or just slightly in front, it should fly good

@RandomUser09 You must set ONE of the motors to "true"

@RandomUser09 In the settings there is a parameter, which is set to "false", this parameter is called "Reverse rotation"

I had a problem with an Mi-8 I made (I didn’t post it) that it would always tilt away, even though the CoM was perfectly placed, I rage quit and haven’t touched it since xD @RandomUser09

Also, the center of mass (CoM) is behind the center of the rotor hub, so when you take off, it tilts backwards.

The rotors spin the same direction on yours. Helicopters with 2 main rotors spin opposite direction to counter the torque. Yours spins the same direction, so it spins in the opposite direction to the rotor due to the high torque.
