I am going to discuss a serious issue on this site, but in story form (go ahead call it cringe).

I am not targeting anybody in the aforementioned story, do not take it that way.
Marcus224 just downloaded the game, and is browsing the website. He sees all the planes with hundreds of upvotes and is excited to make his own plane. After a few minutes of objectiveless tinkering, he finally makes his very first plane, and uploads it. He expects to get tons of upvotes and people to notice his plane. He ends up getting no upvotes and 2 downloads. Discouraged, he struggles to understand why he gets no upvotes. In a frantic attempt to redeem his work on the plane, he begins to look for everything he can to make a better plane, looking at the hottest page, re doing the tutorial, with little to no improvement. He eventually stops uploading, realize it doesn’t matter what he does. He keeps playing SimplePlanes, only returning to the website to download a plane now and then.
This happens to so many new players, and there is no solution in sight. If you want proof, simply look at all the abandoned white bronze and silver accounts.
Yeah but do you think the new player knows why he is getting no upvotes? And to a new player the website would seem like it is only about upvotes.@Liew
If a new player downloads a game and builds a all new it mediocre plane, you can’t be surprised if it doesn’t get any attention
Building for upvotes is a bad mentality because your enjoyment doesn’t come from actually building the plane but from number on a website. I never started built anything because I’m untalented but besides the point , if a new player wants to be involved in the community they should find a group so they can improve together.
Building for points will only make you discouraged

Plats got more attention than golds silvers and bronzes its because they built very good aircrafts than them. They have a hard Time getting attention than Plats who make dad jokes like that people needs to give attention to the new players especially bronze. They can make good planes too!

Sadly... This is true. However, it all depends on whether you love building stuff or not. Upvotes, Downloads, Spotlights. None of that actually matters when you're passionate about something. The one's who keep moving forward are what matters. They are the one's who contribute something new to the community. Besides, We downloaded the game for the building not the upvotes.
