Multi-plane direction finder

Hi,

Is there any way to make a simple compass that points a parasite fighter to its parent plane? I've experimented with rotors that rotate according to the main cockpit's heading, but had many problems with. First I couldn't get it to rotate precisely (i.e it'd work on the left side but not on the right), and second it would only point relatively to the position of the rotor, which is zero.

Regards, goldEagle.

    .
    Through enough math, yes.

@SnoWFLakE0s is it even possible to get the position/heading of the parasite fighter (which doesn't have the main cockpit) tho?

    Possible**.

**Requires stupid amounts of math. Math not included.

@MIAW26PERSIAN Yes that's true, however I don't find it enjoyable and it needs to switch the camera all the time (+ the view distorter) which is quite annoying. Thanks for your comment either way.

Hmm thats interesting, the only was i know how to see another object from antoher object is to use Camera

    .

So to do this put the camera in a clear spot and set it to "look at cockpit" this way the parasite fighter can look to the Mothership direction.
