December 1944, Battle of the Bulge - Two Tiger II tanks and a few Panther tanks are holding an advancing column of M10 tank destroyers and Sherman tanks down as they try to push back the Germans. Six tanks are already burning and casualties are mounting. Suddenly, a loud clanking is heard over the sounds of battle and a large tank crawls laboriously over a hills. It halts just exposing its turret in a hulldown position. Inside, the crew train the massive 123 mm gun onto an unwary Tiger II that had been too confident in its armor. An flash of fire and the Tiger is burning. A Panther commander spots the muzzle flash of the FV 216 and despite his panic at the new opponent's firepower orders hgis gunner to fire. Distressingly, the shell bounces off the FV 216's turret cheek. The German commander calls a Tiger II onto the enemy just before his own tank erupts into flames. The remaining Tiger II fires, but yet again the shell bounces... 20 minutes later the column of Sherman and M10 tanks continue their advance leaving a burning wake of burnt out tanks.
