I want to make a sports car and I'm just wondering if i could use funk trees to make it have down force to glue it better to the tarmac. Just something I'm wondering.

Yes if you angle a wing down it will provide downforce @Mastermind1941

If it has lift then it should have downforce

A lot of cars in this game now uses wing or some sort of other downforce mechanism to keep them grounded, this seems to be the truth when Takitech uploaded a forum on making cars, even the blockiest of cars that i make have downforce (ironically only 1 or 2 cars that i make doesn't have a geometric shape...)

The type of downforce I use is a jet engine with exhaust going up. It’s not practical or anything but works kinda

It does have Downforce, yes, but you need to XML mod all wings pices to inverted=true and angle them just like spoilers. To XML them, go into the Overload mod. Another thing you should do is change their scale to 0.25,0.25,0.25 and ajust them normally after that.

I believe you can angle a wing-part downwards and it creates downforce
