(BUG) Lag spike on scaled creations.

Would be nice to have a dev or mod check out this post.

So, before I got the current phone, I was using a pretty bad phone to play SP (I ran 10 fps on a 300 part build with lowest graphics). When I would receive a notification, close tge pop-up keyboard after editing texts/values, or have SP running in the background (like when I accidentally press the "switch screen" button), there would be these lag spike when going back to the application. These could last for over 30 seconds, and on some occasions, not return entirely.

Once I got my current phone (which is much better), most of the problems disappeared, until I would use scaled builds (which may contain no less than 100 parts). The lag spikes would occur for 2-5 seconds (depending on how much the build has been scaled). However, on PC (I use Steam), despite my computer (surface 3 pro) having comparable speed to my old phone, there is no noticible delay when editing strings.

I've been playing SP for over a year and have reported the issue before. It is quite annoying and very much a hinderance since I primarily build on mobile. I do hope to have this fixed soon.


The lag spike can be seen after editing the numbers.

    I also have this problem on builds with fuselages that are modded to be longer than the max of 10.

    Its in the designer, not in flight. (still a good idea though)

    I know, it always happen, and im still fine with the 10-20 second wait because i have all the time i need to think what should i change, a lot of my ship have scalable or made entirely out of scalable and its already a norm to me
