how can i change the name of cannons and weapons in general?

Actually you need to find the right category. For cannon it's the "cannon" tab, for gun it's "gun", for droppable ordnance it's something like rocket, missile or bomb.

In overlord, on the left put "name" (Just without the quotes) and on the right whatever you want to name it
