So, I was building a plane (put a lot of work into it whit out saving) and then when I was gonna test fly it the game crashed, I tryed to load the backup but it says "there was an error while loading the aircraft design" and it just shows a blank build space. Also I use two mods: multiplayer and the xml. Is theres anything I coud do to get the plane back? I really woudnt like to spend another series of hours to get back where I was before the crash
so, how did I fix it:
I opened the file of the craft that failed to load in the notepad
and I copied everything untill "<connections>" and pasted it on the copy of the older save of the craft and the model came back, not sure about the connections... gona check those now and will keep yall updated
allright, found the error: something invalid in the connections, incase I cant get any of the connections back then all I gotta do is reconnect all of the parts
Its all good now :D my plane is back
@asteroidbook345 it is saved, but I resieve the error message "there was an error while loading the aircraft" now I have figured out how to get the plane design back tho
@CrashFighter05 I still have the file(you know, in the text form) so I still have hope but Im not sure what id the parts are..
NOW I HAVE AN IDEA:
1: I take note of all of the different parts IDs
2: I try to remember the lastest parts I edited/put on the plane
3: I remove the said parts
its a long process tho so if there woud be any other easier solutions to this proplem Id love to hear them
