Does anyone want to become my new XML modder?

6,499 XVIindustries  8.5 years ago

Well, DarkLithium has not been playing the game lately, so he hasn't been able to mod... And I have a lot of things that need modding.... And I can't do it myself as I'm on IOS so preferably I need a modder :/ so yah, any of you want to 'become' an XVI plane designer/modder? You need a reddit account btw and u need to know how to edit the XML...

@UnknownVectors if you do not an end time do not do it and if you have complete some and don't have time to finish I can give it to someone else...I do not wish for this plane to get in your way, as RL is always more important

@XVIindustries Glad to know. Well everything has two sides.....(But Apple is pretty stupid not to let the users have basic access to their files like android....) Anyway congratulations.

Because I do not wish to destroy my iOS device as I have had a friend that did that to his and the Apple Store did not refund him as he tampered with it, and i do mean XMLs but, Unknown vectors has kindly stepped in @phoenixzis

Well the only thing I am going to ask is:
Why don't you get a jailbroken ios?
Sorry, not meaning that. But I did use iPhone 4s and still xml. Used ifile. Consider it .
ps: if what you mean by modding is doing xmls then I might be able to help though I only know the basics.

@XVIindustries ok i think i can do that

Basicly you need to use the small ones I provided or the large ones and attach 3 to one detacher so the drop at the same time only using one, and they need to be in rows of 3 like this
    III
    III
    III
    III
    III
    III
And that's six detachers and each has 3 bombs attached

Then you take another layer of that until it looks like this from a horizontal point of view
    ======.

So basicly that's one to the rows above, on top of another, so there's 6 bombs attached to each detacher so you can do carpet bombing and it will be AWSOME
I think only the smaller inceindary style bomb will fit properly with 2 levels of them, the bigger bombs can just be put in space you have left off if there is any at all.... @UnknownVectors

@XVIindustries ok and can you give me a better desc. of the bombs?

Ah, if you put some plain wings on the front I'll make it mesh for ya :) I can do that just not attach the bits that make the doors open... @UnknownVectors

@XVIindustries I can do the bombs. I just cant get the bomb bay to mesh with the plane.

@UnknownVectors hmmm, I wonder who can help, ask walrus possibly... Is it the doors or the bombs that you cannot do? Cause the bomb attachment method seemed to be known by walrus

And here are the bombs they need to be in rows of 3 like this
    III
    III
    III
    III
    III
    III

And that's copied over so thee a two levels like that

    ======
And these are attached to single detachers on a third level like this
    DDDDDD
All of the 6 bombs in a row are attached to one detacher so you can basicly carpet bomb stuff, :)

I'd prefer u use the small bombs and have two rows, but yeah...

:) the more time u spend the better the finish :) and remember I have a few (one) more jobs containing this kind of thing (slanting of fuselage blocks) so youd better remember hero to do the code :) I also have a job that concists of making bomb racks and bomb doors for a bomber I, working on, the bomb racks are multiple bombs attached to the same detacher and then multiplied along the bomb bay so u can carpet bomb:) @UnknownVectors

I'm pretty sure you can change the other angle of the fuselage blocks, like the other one not rise or run whatever, the angle u can't change with a button should,be easy to do with the magic of X-M-L ;) I think it will give a seemless finish :) @UnknownVectors
