I don't know how to make custom landing gear that is retractable. Hopefully someone can tell me how, because I already searched it but it didn't help. Also, since I am using a version Motorola, do I need a mod? Please answer this!!! I have new ideas for more aircraft I want to get started on, but it requires long, beefy landing gear, which I don't know how to make.

Have a search for a parts set to download that includes a hinge rotator that is activated by the landing gear input. Save it as a sub assembly and then build from there, stick a .25 block on with a wheel on the end and you are halfway there.
If you are really stuck, download someone else's build and pull it apart to see how they have done it.
Hopefully this helps a little and look forward to what you release
