A Task Force at Snowstone Island has destroyed a smugglers gang operating in the area. They were transporting illegal weapons to the BoC and since its collapse had been kidnapping civilians for ransom. Twenty of those kidnapped were SCN citizens.

After a tip-off a Terminator-E attack helicopter overflew a cave system and detected various RIBs in the mouth of the cave. Commandos in raiding craft from the SWS Kingdom and in Scorpion-class torpedo boats attacked, destroying three RIBs and driving the smugglers out of the cave system. All those kidnapped were rescued unharmed.

Hiding in a nearby village five Alligator armoured personnel carriers and a pair of Earthquake ALS light tanks moved in to capture them, assisted by a Nemesis scout attack drone. Most smugglers came quietly, but five barricaded themselves in a house, firing on two Alligators with heavy machine guns. The APCs returned fire and, assisted by an Earthquake ALS, killed the smugglers.

The last criminals escaping in a fishing trawler were captured by a Pearl-class corvette, inherited by the Conegsreich Republic from the United States of Warburg. All the smugglers have been handed over to the Snowstone authorities for trial.
