Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS)

59 1000AT  4.7 years ago

The current system of braking on the ground only has a way to stop you by locking the brakes, and you can lose control easily of not handled correctly, so I was think that the Anti-Lock would help by pulsating the brake code, it would slow you down, and also would not make you lose control. Like in real life. What are your thoughts?

Pretty good idea. I often have a problem with braking on the propeller planes. It could be a perfect solution.

Setting the brakeTorque to something low keeps the wheels spinning when the brake is applied

That could work but I've never had this problem myself unless my planes are unstable. If it was to be like real life though, it wouldn't be pulsating the brakes it'd set the maximum braking strength to say 75% of the brakes capabilities. Good idea none the less for people who have this problem.
