Main description
The MK.MBT H4-A1 is a main battle tank. It has a peculiar turret design and bosts a large and long 122mm cannon. Development started in the 80s and was accepted for production in the early 90s. Many of these tanks still remain in service and is modernized with different variants.
History and design
It all first began when a proposal and development was needed, a designer, by the name of Antonio Mario, designed the tank for the Poland ground forces, he came up with this tank, the MK.V MBT H4-1. The proposal was accepted and production was expected to enter the late 80s, but was delayed until the early 90s for supply issues. The tank was reliable and easy to maintain due to its simply design, it also had high frontal armor and its turret design is similar to the Concept 1B or the Tornavagn.
