Oh man imagine in VR, you drive a WW2 Tank (like the T-34 i think) and you have to absolutely use 2 levers to drive and steer the tank. That would be awesome!
@ACEVIPER9710 oohh lmao. I do have a sub assembly part of one, but that means the part count will go up to 800. Which is likely to overheat most mobile user phones.
@Something5353 ah, so its gonna be another post.... Though, i heard you can just access aircrafts posts through "favorites" section in your acc through VR.
@Bellcat im not exactly good at making roundels, aswell as detailing the cockpit, so i just downloaded a "Sub-assembly" in the website. And just basicly did the cockpit interiors with the necessary gauges and controls.
@Galland unfortunately doing those little things is what im still bad at. Im mostly about building the entire plane. As for the cockpit canopy, that one came from MisterT's Work for Ta-152H from someone, and i just used it as reference for doing mine.
@ACEVIPER9710 theres no way this build of mine is 50 parts only lmao. What i meant was, make it bearable for mobile users to be able to download and play it while experiencing lag at a minimum. Ive been there so i know how its like, even today.
@Kangy i do use war thunder for roll and pitch for reference.
.
The trouble for me is the artificial Weight and drag. But i guess ill keep tinkering on it for the variant with cockpit intruments.
@Kangy the "guesses" part was meant for the roll and turn rate., As for the acceleration part. Its either/both the game's weird drag system or/and how the aircraft is 800kg or more, lighter.
.
The engine's horsepower even is already up to the historical one (1990hp), and i believe maoing the aircraft heavier will just make it feel less manuverable. Messing with its current weight also messes up its trim stability pretty badly, it wont fly at level at all.
@Kangy i only had my guesses as to how it should perform like, it being japanese made me think it should have great turn rate and roll rate. I also heard that the Hayate is fast and agile. Although, it does turn way too well, so i could update the XML file.
@JustDragon i doubt ill be the first too, the big guys(platinum users) have yet to come in, and im sure theyre taking their sweet time on building their replicas.
@Bryan5 yeh, the last "decently looking" defiant post before this one is like 3.7 Years ago. This build of mine should bring justice with how much time and "tech" went on over the past years of updates and development. So i expect someone to make a whole lot detailed and better than this build of mine in the upcoming future.
@FarrowTECH doesnt mean i cant edit them out to correct my typos xD
Oh and, some of them are just assumptions, like the aft antenna sliding down. I may not be keen on small details but i do sometimes do the mechanisms purely for aesthetics.
@Cereal i use mobile (a somewhat powerful one now) and i know how suffering its like for mobile users. You could say it was a blessing that i didnt do the USN insignia on this build lol
Not sure what my next plan is, the P47D Thunderbolt or the Baulton Paul Defiant with the Auto-Aim and Camera-Aim featuee. The latter sounds interesting as it has like 270° turning arc for the turret. And it isnt that popular.
@Alisuchanka looking at how you can switch modes for the tail gunner makes me feel building the Boulton Paul Defiant on my own is going to be even more difficult than i thought.
Oh man imagine in VR, you drive a WW2 Tank (like the T-34 i think) and you have to absolutely use 2 levers to drive and steer the tank. That would be awesome!
+11Now im curious on the same Auto-aim feature on the British Turreted fighter Defiant.
+5I just completed playing Ace Combat 7 and take my upvote lol
+3I am so sorry for breaking the 69th upvote
+3Never knew such design exist lol
+3Man, thanks to this new technique, all of my builds after my Fw 190 A-8 build have this kind of wings now.
+3@Pennywise0831 "i give salute to the pilots who gave us all a future."
+2@ACEVIPER9710 oohh lmao. I do have a sub assembly part of one, but that means the part count will go up to 800. Which is likely to overheat most mobile user phones.
+2Yes, i forgot to put the USAF on my part lol
+2@Grob0s0VBRa ah, the wing thickness. Yeah indeed it is. It can be the same on thr opposite where it thickens up too.
+2@aLansenFanNamedHusky here after it blew up
+2@Something5353 ah, so its gonna be another post.... Though, i heard you can just access aircrafts posts through "favorites" section in your acc through VR.
+2Im sure people who hate anime will turn this as their target practice
+2@ORZpasserAtw sadly no torpedo version as i havw no reference materials and already a bit complicated to fit it in.
+2Oh no, im gonna be on the next video
+2@sam1333 take it as a compliment. This build of yours is worthy of respect for replica builders like soem of us here.
+2Nah i wont so rest assured. In fact the repaint actually looks cooler.
+2@Bellcat im not exactly good at making roundels, aswell as detailing the cockpit, so i just downloaded a "Sub-assembly" in the website. And just basicly did the cockpit interiors with the necessary gauges and controls.
+2@IceCraftGaming imagine getting your comment pinned lol
+2@Leahh its literally pinned, it wont get flooded by other threads. As for new servers, why though.
+2@Galland unfortunately doing those little things is what im still bad at. Im mostly about building the entire plane. As for the cockpit canopy, that one came from MisterT's Work for Ta-152H from someone, and i just used it as reference for doing mine.
+2Is it me or is this the fastest Beta Test ive seen of all SP betas. 2 weeks to full release...
+2Does this work for Wing guns aswell? And does the number of shell correspond to the number of Ammo it has?
+2I like how theres a bunch of gold users upvotes in a long line, and then one platinum ruins it lol
+1@ACEVIPER9710 theres no way this build of mine is 50 parts only lmao. What i meant was, make it bearable for mobile users to be able to download and play it while experiencing lag at a minimum. Ive been there so i know how its like, even today.
+1@OUGHTO i wanna make it mobile friendly, so i left it out
+1@GrandPrix Something along the lines of making the nose aerodynamic togrther with being able to fit the 37mm gun on the nose, like the Bf-109.
+1Whew nice, especially that space for the landing gear on the wings. I could learn a thing or more from it for my future builds.
+1@Grob0s0VBRa by mean "fuselage with circular corners", did you meant the wingtips?
+1@Vincent could you make this a successor to this post?
+1Definitely not something i can compete in considering im bad at making cockpit intruments, and flight performances being 100+kph faster on sea level.
+1@Kangy i do use war thunder for roll and pitch for reference.
+1.
The trouble for me is the artificial Weight and drag. But i guess ill keep tinkering on it for the variant with cockpit intruments.

Bringd me nostalgia of when i first started SP and this is the plane i first built lol
+1@Farewellntchii i updated the XML file of the plane, i nerfed its turn rate so you might have to redownload it for the "combat" test
+1@Kangy i only had my guesses as to how it should perform like, it being japanese made me think it should have great turn rate and roll rate. I also heard that the Hayate is fast and agile. Although, it does turn way too well, so i could update the XML file.
+1@JustDragon i doubt ill be the first too, the big guys(platinum users) have yet to come in, and im sure theyre taking their sweet time on building their replicas.
+1@IceCraftGaming some really amazing ones get featured sometimes. Its just replicas are more manageable to build.
+1From "game within a game" to "an app within a game". This truely is the definition of "Simpleplanes".

+1@BogdanX yeh, i should have downloaded a curveable one on the website. And scale it up/down to match it.
My only concern was the part count possibly making the aircraft go up to 660+.
+1@beenz Give me the blueprint you used on thid aircraft and i might rebuild its wings for you.
+1@Lake theres none, i made it on my own, albeit at a not so detailed manner. But this one should be a better option.
+1@Cereal i use mobile (a somewhat powerful one now) and i know how suffering its like for mobile users. You could say it was a blessing that i didnt do the USN insignia on this build lol
+1@Lake This?

+1Hope your builds in the future become as good and simple as mine :D
+1@teddyone02 loud turboprop noises
