DL-47B Meteor Mk.XII
DL-47B-1 "Meteor" Mk.I - Mk.XII - Light Bomber/ Dive Bomber for the Arkhälian Air Arm
Brief Lore:
With the aging squadrons of DL-17 "Speege" dive bombers, the Air Corps need something faster and more reliable in combat. Only a year and a half into the war, the aircraft was complete and ready for mass production - the DL-47 "Meteor" took flight. From factory to flight in record timing, it would prove to be an effective replacement for the Speege, surpassing its performance in every way - Payload capacity, speed, maneuverability, and even STOL capability, allowing the aircraft to operate from makeshift runways along the Arkhalian countryside and small clearings throughout the north, some previously used during The Battle of Blood Strait
