The Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter aircraft that was used by the Royal Air Force and other Allied countries before, during, and after World War II. It was the only British fighter produced continuously throughout the war. The Spitfire remains popular among enthusiasts. Approximately 60 remain airworthy as of 2025, and many more are static exhibits in aviation museums throughout the world. 5 airworthy aircraft are also part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, which is a squadron in the RAF.
Armament
2x Hispano 20mm MKII cannons
2x M2 Browning 12.7mm machine guns
1x 500lb GP ( general purpose) bomb
Controls
AG1 for canopy open
AG2 for nav lights
AG3 for engine start
VTOL down for flaps
Trim for trim
Notes
Used cool fuesalage wing technique again, turned out better than BF-109
Fuselage is somewhat detailed ( at least for my standards) with the engine exhaust pipes and other details
1:1 scale
VR friendly and mobile friendly, although the cockpit is a bit crammed yet again and does not have enough rooms for labels for everything.
Hope you are all having a wonderful start to 2026! Happy flying!

@Hooha12 Just so you know, a lot of ww2 fighters were known to ground loop at takeoff (or even at landing), they were demanding precise control. So what I would do is revert them to an acceptable value, maybe even increasing the side traction for the tail wheel, and try to increase the authority of the rudder. Most of the time, if you keep a fighter below 10-20° yaw slip you can save it with rudder, above that the spin is almost inevitable.
But eh, you do what you want, it's your build.
@SilverStar I've never though about scaling down the wings, that actually sounds like a good idea. And I had to lower grip on the front wheels as they kept causing problems on takeoff, mainly how it would even veer slightly left and then the wheels cause it to spin off the runway. Thanks for the advice!
For this number of parts, it's not a bad build ! I'm kinda impressed about how it looks.
The only flaws I found is the Roll rate which is maybe a little excessive, and the main gears don't have enough grip to taxi properly. Also the tail gear has brake, which shouldn't be the case.
When building an aircraft with fuselage wings, you can scale the wings down so they don't overlap with fuselage, and they preserve their flight properties as they were not scaled, I've explained that in my flight model tutorial.
Keep it up !
@planespottdedplensare886 don't worry, I have been working on an su-27, and I am probably going to upload in the next hour or 2.
No planes?
Hooha evolution +99 lvl
Aw bri'ish💟
@Hooha12 Thank you! This is really useful for future replicas past the MiG
@Warsforyou ok, so find the scale of the plane you're making, probably by searching it up. Then get a blueprint. Then, place some long fuesalages on your plane and check info until it reaches the same length. Then, get a blueprint and match it so it is the same length, and then remove the fuselages and start building.
@Hooha12 Thanks, how do you get the scale though?
@Warsforyou I looka at lots of reference photos, what I do is make the general shape and then go into fine details such as corners and minor adjustments to the size. for the wing, I use fuesalage that fits perfectly on the wing and slice it up into different parts for aelirons, leading edge slats, and whether it it diff colormon top rather than the bottom.
@Hooha12 both, but mainly the fuselage, took me ages to do the MiG-21’s shape, how do you manage to get them done so well so fast?
@Warsforyou wdym, like the fuesalage shaping? Or the wings?
Honest question, how do you get the shaping done so well?
@avDude4 @M109simp @Savethesharks thank you!
Its so cozy inside! Comfortable! Great! Just number one! Goated!
