The Brute Mark II is armed with two very powerful plasma cannons. So powerful that even with 16-vent muzzle brakes on each barrel, the recoil is still enough to slow it down in flight.

@VerldVarIII I know that feeling. I remember when Crysis came out and my low-end PC could only run it on the lowest settings.

@FalconGT12 The recoil caused by a given firearm/ammunition combination depends on the momentum (mass x velocity) of the bullet and the propellant gases, and the mass of the firearm.

    For .17HMR, the momentum of the bullet is 1.1 g * 810 m/s = 0.891 kg m/s.

    For .22LR, the momentum is 2.6g * 370 m/s = 0.962 kg m/s.

The .17HMR also has much higher muzzle velocity (1.5x - 2x that of .22LR), which means the duration of the recoil force will be much less, further reducing felt recoil.

@FalconGT12 17 hmr is faster than 22 lr but 17 hmr is way faster than 22 but less recoil

@FalconGT12 Nope. Recoil is a function of momentum, which depends on both mass and speed. Do you really think that if you fire the same bullet at 1000 fps and 3000 fps, it'll generate the same amount of recoil each time?

@SledDriver ok i belive that now but recoil is based on mass not speed

@FalconGT12 Even a small mass accelerated to a high enough speed has a lot of momentum. Also, given that plasma can't travel very far on its own, maybe the plasma is encased in containers of some kind. Use your imagination, kid.

@FalconGT12 @SledDriver with mean very low recoil

@SledDriver oh but is has a very low mass

@FalconGT12 A plasma is actually very hot ionized gas; it has mass and therefore recoil.

But plasma has no recoil because is energy not a hard projectile

@Spectre2520 Yeah. The bigger the vertical stabilizers, the more stable the plane will be about the yaw/roll axes. Just as the bigger the wings, the more stable the plane will be around the pitch/roll axes.

So it’s about the height of the stabilizer? @SledDriver

@Spectre2520 Are you scaling it? You need to scale it so it's effectively tall enough to stabilize the plane, but visually small enough to fit inside the build.

How do you put vertical stabilizer inside the plane whiteout it spinning out
When I try to move it into the plane, it spins out@SledDriver
