GBU-39 Demonstration
People wanted to know how to make these custom bombs with unfolding wings that I’ve used on my F-16 and included into my weapons package.
We are going to start with what is attached to the detacher first:
1:Take detacher
2: attach a bomb and missile to the large side of the detacher with the connections UI
3: attach main bomb body to the back of the detacher
3:attach detacher to a pylon to move it around by
Now the unfolding wings:
1: take rotator
2: attach bottom to base of bomb
3: attach wing part to unfold
4: select desired rotation and speed
5: attach small end of rotator to the small end of the detacher
Remember small to small
Rinse and repeat
If you have any further questions feel free to ask!
Note:Attaching the rotator to the detacher is key. When the bomb releases, the small end of the detacher disconnects all connections to that connection point. This then allows the rotators to move and swings wings out.

So I tested your GBU-39 SDB, and it seems that the first bomb's wings will not deploy.
Plus, is the small side that you're saying the side which is usually attached with the pylon??
Also, will it work with missiles with folding wings (I'm thinking about making one, pls don't judge me)??
And last thing, Any way to put a time delay on the folding/unfolding of wings through this??
is there any way to delay the wing's deployment, i've have yet to find some
How do you get each bombs wings to deploy specifically when they are dropped?
Edit: Nevermind I missed the description.
Thanks
Thanks for the guide!
Very nice! Thank you for the tutorial, it’s very helpful!
Bruh go to sleep lol@Omel
@Omel lol just use blueprints as you would for planes and attach that fuselage to the back of the detacher with the weapon to the longer side.
Wait nvm @Omel I didn't use this method on our TU-160 I just learned it then but anyways its still awesome
@JolyLoly yeah I did one of my own on my tu-160
@ChisP wow, amazing bomb bay! I am making strategic bomber now, thanks a lot!
I’m really just the first one to catch people’s attention@JolyLoly
Yeah this wing method has apparently been around for a while link@JolyLoly
