Further advice: match pitch is good for high speed (over 100 km/h), medium pitch for low speeds (10~20 km/h, let’s say, such as starting on hills), and minimum pitch to brake (propulsion from flat bottom lift is negligible).
Being at high speed and reducing pitch will result in slowing down. Use this to get slow enough for the landing gear to permit turning.
Note: stopping and starting again may result in reverse rotation, meaning you go backwards, or, even worse, synchronized rotation, which can lead to fatal gyroscopic effects and vibrations. I do not recommend turning the engines off, using fast forward, or possibly slow-motion (I’m unclear if it causes sync issues).
It’s possible max throttle may be determined in part by computer power or physics level. Maybe.
Some claim a limit of 70%, others say 100%. It’s odd.
@126 It's tricky, yes, but to be completely blunt you are especially weak with it, to the point that it can cause conflict through misinterpretation. I have no idea how you could go about improving that, I'm not an expert in psychology by any means, but it would be greatly advisable.
