AIRBUS A320-200

DISCLAIMER: Not an exact replica of the birdstriked A320

  • Highly detailed fuselage
  • Custom landing gear with working gear doors
  • Modeled aerofoil
  • Realistic-ish flight performance
  • Thrust reverser with working visuals
  • It floats!
  • Somewhat mobile friendly, I guess?

  • AG1: Thrust reversers
  • AG2: Landing/taxi lights
  • AG3: Nav lights
  • AG4: Beacon Lights
  • AG7: Landing Gear doors
  • AG8: Toggle engines
  • VTOL Slider: Flaps

  • Flaps are not mandatory to be fully extended during takeoff, but must be fully extended during landing
  • Landing speed 160-190 mph
  • Minimum takeoff speed 160 mph, safe takeoff speed 200 mph
  • Throttle at 70%-80% during cruise
  • Throttle at 100% during takeoff/climb
  • Reduce throttle while descending
  • Land the aircraft smoothly, the landing gear is fragile and can break on hard landings
  • Using mouse as joystick is highly advised

The aircraft at night with all lights turned on

Aircraft ditched, similar to the Hudson landing

Happy flying!

    To resolve some problems:
I would make all parts of the fuselage 100% Buoyancy (it adds enough weight as well)
Make the nose wheel 2.50 instead of 1.57 (the nose wheel was too low)
But, as @BogdanX said, still alot to improve on.
However, well done! It's very good otherwise.

looks very nice and flight performance is good, only complaint is that the landingGear seem to break off very easily on landing (not sure if that says something about the plane or my flying skills)

Just add a Shock/Suspension and some enough Fuselage, Add a Shock Attached to a fuselage. Then that fuselage connects the Landing Gear Wheels.

    It may Compensate.

Add a Fuselage Stick below the Hinge.

In the middle, Attach the Shock.

Make an Assembly: Call it Gear Attachment
    Get a fuselage, Wheels.

Attach that Fuselage in to the Shock (Connection: "Gear Attachment" Assembly to Shock/Suspension

Then Use Fine-Tuner to Raise the Gear Attachment Assembly and Cover the Shock.

You can make that Part assembly In the XML:

    Health | 5000
    PartCollisionResponse |None

This Compensation can even withstand a crash: (IF you are XML Monkeys, if you are not one: it is the PartCollisionResponse.)

Can I convert this plane into A320neo?

    2.4 years ago
  • Profile image

The reason why the tag is France is because airbus is a European plane manufacturer and U.S. Airways bought the A320
