Story:
After the Second World War, France launched a project to rebuild its armoured vehicle industry and get it back on track. This led to the creation of the ARL-44, which was a technically rather basic tank. It was intended to be a heavy tank, but if it had gone up against a Soviet IS-3, well... I don’t need to draw you a picture — compared to the IS-3, the ARL-44 was more like a light tank and wouldn’t have stood a chance.

A few years later, France developed the AMX-50 series, including the heavily armoured and lower-profile versions, in the 1950s, I believe. Let’s say the AMX-47 fits somewhere between the ARL-44 and the heavily armoured AMX-50.

The AMX-47 was designed as a breakthrough and defensive tank, so yes, it’s a heavy tank. It’s very well armoured for a French tank, which is exceptional, and it’s equipped with a 100mm automatic cannon. I forgot the gun’s elevation and depression angles — anyway, who cares. Its top speed on road is 54 km/h (which is about 33.5 mph).

I should mention that I didn’t design the turret — a French guy did. And when I got hold of it, it wasn’t even finished. Of course, I worked on all this without his consent, but he clearly said I could do whatever I wanted with his creations. So legally, I owe him nothing, especially since there’s no patent on the turret. Haha!

Alright, to start, press AG-7.

Oh — and I forgot to add a sight, so forgive me for that!
