Hi, today I want to learn you how to make a Customized working rims, same BBS rim model was used on my bmw m3 gtr.
to do this exactly according to my instructions and bellow pics.
To do this, you need to get acquainted with the structure of my wheel. This structure consists of dozens of parts (10) including two rotators and a default tire.
The inner section parts of the rim are the second priority. before anything, You can use hollow fuselage to make extra wheel parts, make it the same size as the tire, ie based on its radius and diameter.
Note that the weight is only the weight of hollow fuselage and drag points is 0 and set DesableCollision to true
In the images below, I categorized the stages (fuselage parts) by different color for a better understanding :
In the picture above, the numbered parts are the same parts that should first be made based on the size of the wheels, but in terms of size they should be a little smaller because it may collide with the main wheel and can not be moved and Causes an explosion
The numbered parts must be connected and put together at the end
The pink parts that are from number 1 to 4 are the parts that are made first of all and of course they should not be attached to the tires but should be attached to part number 2 later, part number 2 is actually the part that the components are It connects the inside to the outside, which is as follows Connect part from 1 to 5 : 1-3-4-6-5,
Note about part 2 :
that part 2 is the part that (red hollow) is placed at the end because the spinner FT rotator will be placed at part for connecting with Spokes.
Then we put the colored parts, which are from 6 to 5, respectively, inside the pink part of the wheel
Now we come to our favorite part, Spokes. In this part, you are free to make your own Spokes in any shape and taste, but all parts of Spokes, such as the pink and orange parts, should not have mass scale and drag points and change them to 0, and DesableCollision to change true.
Before making your favorite Spoke, you must first place a small hollow fuselage in the center of the starting point, and then make the Spokes and attach them to it, because it must be connected to a small rotator. (I have marked that part with a specific blue color)
When the Spokes are done, we need a rotator to rotate them. It should be the same size as the wheels, but in order to be able to rotate them easily, we need a special FT Code to rotate while the car is moving:
(I have marked that rotator with cyan color)
Then attach the blue part, which is the center and main part of the rim, to the rotator, and you can rotate the rotator itself to make it look like a brake disc plate.
Now that the rotator connected to Spokes move it into the wheel in the internal or the same orange! Then attach that cyan rotator to part 6 (orange). That's it!
You can add more details like logo, marks or points on your rims at the end.
Remember 2 things about rotator's configuration :
