BAMC SF-30 'AgniBalaka'
ABOUT AIRCRAFT
The BAMC SF-30 is a Bangladeshi Indegenous single seater, twin engine, 4.5+ generation aircraft made by joint operations of Bangladesh Armed Forces Military Collab-Corp ( BAMC ) and Bangladesh Airforce for the Airforce and eventually the Navy. It was developed during the IMRCA programme which began in 2017 to replace its ageing fleet of Mig-29B Fulcrums to counter the ongoing threats from the neighbouring countries . This Aircraft was given the nickname 'AgniBalaka' ( pronounced; Ogni-Balok ) meaning 'fire lit radiance' to match its aggressive aura.
This specific model of the aircraft was designed for areal superiority ops and interception missions given that it has 2x irst pods, one on it's nose and the other on it's starboard intake.
