SMS Deutschland 1906
HOLY SHIP IT FLOATS
As you can see, this is my first attempt at a boat
Yes folks, it's a boat, a ship, somehing that floats on water
"bUt DAr" I here you screaming in my friggin ears "tHAt coULd nOT pOsSIbLy be YOUR FIRST SHIP"
Well suck a fat piece of sh*p cus you're right
I tried to build the Bismark as my first ship but I failed miserably
So here's a build that is less of a failure then my Bismarck(still a failure). I rammed all the funky trees expressions I could think of into it, except the stuff I said I would do, like gun convergence over different distances(hence failure)
anyways, moving on
Features
- Realistic(kinda) speed, reload, size, gun traverse and elevation
- Synchronized turrets at different angles w/o using more than one rotator for traverse(except for the rear turret; I was lazy)
- Synchronized ranges for the main battery(even though the velocities and elevations are different)
- Main Battery is synchronized to the rangefinder(ok, I'm making this way too easy for you guys)
- Working rangefinder(doesn't tell you the range though, you use it to range the guns). Thanks @SnoWFLakE0s for the scopes. I didn't use the code of your rangefinder because I thought that would be cheating
- Has a ton of guns(that's not really me, it just has according to the specs)
- Guns hold fire when not aimed at their side(WITH ALL NEW FT CODE)
- Can take a few hits from the beast's escort destroyers(I have not tested it on the WW2 destroyers though)
- looks nice :)

How to Use Rangefinder(Zoom Mod required)
Switch to Camera4
Point Camera4 at targer(using Yaw control)
Switch to Camera5
Adjust Elevation(using Throttle control) until Camera5 is pointed at target
Switch between Cameras 4 and 5 rapidly (using "f8" and "C")
If Cameras are not aligned(when the target still shakes while switching between cameras), adjust the Elevation until there is minimal/no shaking(important note: only observe whether the target is shaking, not objects in the background)
Fire
Observe fall of shot
Adjust Elevation accordingly
If you did everything right you should end up with this
Note: Camera6 is for you plebs out there who would rather use the regular aiming system(lol jk). It's for people who don't have the zoom mod(sorry mobile) or can't understand how to use the rangefinder(that's why go to school... ya pleb). It has not been calibrated soooo... good luck hitting anything

Description
The Deutschland class was a group of five pre-dreadnought battleships built for the German Kaiserliche Marine. The class comprised Deutschland, Hannover, Pommern, Schlesien, and Schleswig-Holstein. Built between 1903 and 1908, the ships closely resembled those of the preceding Braunschweig class, though they had stronger armor protection. They were made obsolete before they were even completed by the launch of the revolutionary Royal Navy battleship HMS Dreadnought in 1906. As a result, they were the last ships of that type built for the German Navy. They were followed by the Nassau-class battleships, Germany's first dreadnought battleships.
P.S.
I don't know why, but the thumbnail keeps coming out darker than when I first saw and edited it. kjlzfhcsodcx hits head on keyboard SOMEONE TEACH ME HOW TO TAKE PICTURES AND MAKE A PROPER THUMB NAIL PLS
Also, if you can figure out how the ft works in the turrets(hehe I'd like to see you try), feel free to use them w/o giving credit. If not, and all you did was copy-and-paste, give credit where it is due :)
P.P.S.
I have fixed the rangefinder(it is now quite accurate. hmmm yyeeeesss)

Wow! best battleship on simpleplanes 100%
Wow
@DarDragon k tell me when you post it
@cruiseman101 Uhmm, I might have to remove the rigging and the boats, though that might not make much of a difference because most of the parts are in the guns. But, I'll see what I can do
@DarDragon can you plz make a model with like maybe 300/200 parts. cuz im on mobile and i cant download this.
@Notnoob1000 Oooh nice! I haven't really tried that yet!
@MAHADI Thanks! I thought it was a bit, ehm... dark, like my other thumbnails. But I'm glad you like it!
I engaged the WWII fleet at 9 miles out. I sunk a destroyer until the other ruined my fun.
that's one hell of a screenshot!
@XjayIndustrys HAHAHA yes. I was laughing while making it lol
@Tang0five Thank you!!
Haha really cool, funny desc. Too
Marvellous. Bloody marvellous!
This is simply amazing. Aesthetically and efficiently speaking. Everything from the inputs needed to operate the turrets allowing for extremely accurate targeting, to the syncing of all turrets, to the way the cannons switch which one fires simply based on which way you aim. The whole system you have going on with this ship is perfect and I hope you incorporate it on all future ships
Damn she does looks pretty, would be cool if you make the pocket battleship too, sadly i can't test its ability due to using android as my one and only SP platform
@DarDragon
I'll try it later. I am trying to do some homework right now.
Oh my... Thank you so much guys!!! I can't believe this ship was actually featured!
@ArcturusAerospace Maybe a dial
@DarDragon Thanks man
@DarDragon
What would I use with that? A dial or a display?
Of course! This is actually incredible @DarDragon
Also, thanks for the spotlight @Serotrillion1100!
