Now, let's make a medium size passenger plane challenge -
These are called regional airliners, feeder-liner, commuter, and local service, all alternative terms for the same class of flight operations.

regional airliner
A regional or feeder-liner is a small airliner designed to fly up to 100 passengers on short-haul flights, usually feeding larger carriers' airline hubs from small markets. Regional airliners are used for short trips between smaller towns or from a larger city to a smaller city. This class of aircraft is usually flown by the regional airlines.

Rules:
1) It can be a jet or a prop.
2) A civilian airliner, which the military could also use. It Should carry under 100 passengers. Examples: ATR42, Fokker-27,
Much smaller planes such as twin-otter and Beechcraft are also welcome.
3) Era - should be any time between the 1940s to modern days.
4) Fictional ones are welcome. But make it believable.
5) Descriptions and photos are highly valued
LIMITS:
1) ALL POSTS MUST BE A SUCCESSOR
You are not running outside the track to get a prize, fair enough?
2) Number of parts: any number is welcome, but keep it under 900 for tech reasons.
3) No special modding. Using XML and Overload is fine.
4) Please make it as realistic as possible - (You can still build memes or egg planes, but that is not to my taste. So I am not judging them for an award or spotlighting them)
5) Up to 3 entries per person. All decent entries will get ONE upvote each. But the only best one will be awarded
JUDGING POINTS:
- Proportion/accuracy - 10 points
- Livery and decoration - 10 points
- Cockpit - 10 points
- Flight handling - 10 points
- Historical accuracy, remarkable building techniques, XML, and all other "cool factors" you may add - 10 pt
Awards
10 UPVOTES and two spotlights FOR ALL TOP 3 ENTRIES
Every REASONABLE entry will get 1 Upvote shortly after your upload, and notable ones will get one Spotlight too.
With my 144K rank, I could spotlight most of you except approximately 10+ users who are above me) Every GOOD entry will get 1 Upvote right away once I sported. I will also follow you if I like your collection.
If you don't have enough builds on your posts, I can not upvote! I will not use multiple accounts for upvoting.

@WinsWings Ok, understood for the supersonic. By the way, my Diamond D jet is due to upload soon. I disagree with prizes for collabs though - if anyone doing collab wins, I think the prize should be split half between the person posting and the other given username. Sure there is a risk of the other username being a random friend that didn't help, but still its the one posting's personal choice.
@Wibbley Thanks for lots of ups - appreciate your support
@windshifter1 great plane, but keep it for the supersonic challenge. Because it doesn't seem to be a REGIONAL airliner. Supersonic planes are for great-distance travel. Collaboration is okay, but I will post the prize to the one who posts the entry.
Are proposed futuristic planes allowd? https://www.wired.com/story/boeing-hypersonic-mach-5-jet-concept/
Can we do collaborations?
I am excited to see the entries... since there are 850 downloads so far. Wow
Thanks
@WinsWings np
@Clutch123 thanks for explaining newcomers- and welcome @LUPIN
ALL POSTS MUST BE A SUCCESSOR
@WinsWings yeah there is only one other on this sight, so it's pretty original
@LUPIN in order to it to be in the challenge you must 1. Download this post 2. Build you plane right off of this.
Were we should send our plane when it completed
@100 everyone is welcome!
Can I join
I might join, I have been offline a tad too long.
@Clutch123 that is an awesome choice. Can’t wait to see
Is the NAL Saras ok with 12 passenger seats or do i need more?
@HokagoAerospace fictional, prototype and cancelled planes are okay - as far as it fits the ‘’regional airliner’’ category. IPTN N250 is well met the requirements
@WinsWings is Cancelled Aircraft like N-250 Allowed?
@XiaoPiao141 thanks for asking. The reason for supersonic is to reduce the traveling time for long distance flights such as London to New York (direct flight), Paris to Singapore- etc., regional airliners doesn’t sound reasonable with supersonic jets - so please find something else. Once I did a small supersonic plane Supersonic-Transport-SST-W100like a 20 seater business jet - which will never fits this challenge
Seeing the thumbnail reminded me how much I miss the old Jazz Livery. I think they still use it on a couple planes but I miss seeing it more often
I have one question, can I use the plane that looks like a supersonic plane BUT it has a size of a regional airliner and the passenger count.
@WinsWings OK then. Just a little disappointed I cant to the rutan boomerang...
@windshifter1 Diamond D-Jet could be acceptable, but not the later- which I see it as an experimental plane. I have tested the physics of asymmetrical airplane designs before. They are not perfect, but they work after hard work and testing. It was hard because I did not use any fake wings, and just testing physics. Check out these links: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/b7s4rp/WinsWings-W2000 and even more simpler earlier version https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/BZH0Fq/Asymmetrical-X141 with single engine
