The better Brother of the -100 with more effort
Lore:
With the rising Chinese threat for the US and other nations, SP Aircraft was considering a soviet-like fighter for export to Taiwan, the Philippines and other southeast Asian nations. The Fighter was originally based on the MiG-21 and MiG-23, but the 2nd design was just a modified MiG-23. The plane lacked any stealth capabilities except from the stealth features found on the F/A-18 Super Hornet, but was able to detect stealth aircraft in distances of up to 35 Km, with the overall radar range being 90 Km. The Prototype originally had poor maneuverability with its wings swept back, which would be a problem evading missiles. An engineer joked about thrust vectoring, which would help with the turn rate, but nobody expected it to be actually added. The head designer heard the joke and presented the idea to the whole design team. After the decision to add thrust vectoring was made, the 2nd prototype was rolled out in secret with the public not knowing about it. The Carrier-based version of this is equipped with a new, more shock-absorbing Landing gear. A 2nd pilot was deemed not necessary for it, as operating the weaponry consisting of Anti-Carrier missiles and guided Bombs while flying at low altitudes and looking for targets on the radar was deemed “doable” for a single pilot.
AGs:
1: Open Canopy
2: Arm Air-to-Ground weapons
3: wing sweep
4: Thrust vectoring (Recommended Use: at high speeds and with AG3 on)
5: Lights
6: Arresting Hook
7: Ejection
8: seat pushback (a lot more than on previous planes for the pilot to get out)
