Before the M20 Mjölnir had even seen combat, trials and war games displayed the lack of protection and lack of sufficient countermeasures. There were only the ERA panels, the FB-4401-A2 APS, and the smoke flares. The tank could not detect when it was being sighted with a laser rangefinder, and all ATGMs were unaffected until they came within range of the APS. With this new SimplePlanes update, Spartan Ballistics has overhauled the Mjölnir to its limit, producing the M20ABV. Featuring a new Laser Warning System, Infrared Countermeasure, Periscopic Laser Rangefinder, and an improved primary gunsight, in addition to an upgraded transmission and a turret gyro lock, there’s no doubt the Mjölnir will now accomplish every mission without fail.
hT-125 125mm Cannon
With the ability to fire DS-200 APFSDS-T shells at an astonishing 1800 meters per second, the all new hT-125 high velocity cannon is the poster boy of the latest ballistic tech at Spartan Ballistics.
Laser Warning System (LWS)
Mounted on the same towers as the IRCM, this tool detects the laser beams focused on the tank by enemy laser rangefinders zeroing in on their target, and displays to the commander where the laser is coming from. The SimplePlanes version isn’t functional as of yet, however, and is just for display.
Infrared Countermeasure (IRCM)
A form of soft-kill APS, this puts out an extremely bright infrared beam through four floodlights on the rear of the turret. This is designed to confuse and interfere with an ATGM’s guidance capabilities, thus preventing the missile from reaching its target. The SimplePlanes version isn’t functional as of yet, however, and is just for display.
Periscopic Laser Rangefinder (PLR)
A laser rangefinder capable of elevating well above the tank’s roof to view over obstacles, and will shoot two lasers at the intended target, measuring the range. An optimal situation requiring use of this device is when the tank is behind cover and needs to deliver a quick, precise shot. The PLR will elevate above the obstacle, measure the range, and retract. The driver will then make the tank “jump” up to 4ft in the air, raising the gun above the target and allowing the gunner to engage.
Improved Primary Gunsight
Very simple addition: Just some crosshairs with a label in the upper left displaying the currently selected ammunition type.
ON START: Turret gyro lock automatically engages, locking both the gun and the turret into position.
AG-1 + Ground Weapon Selection: Deactivate the gyro lock on the turret, activate the turret controls, the hT-125 cannon, and the coaxial 7.62mm machine gun, Yaw+Trim to operate
AG-2 + Ground Weapon Selection: Activate the FB-100 (.50) ROWS, Yaw+Trim to operate
AG-3: Activate the FB-4401-A2 APS, FireGuns to operate
AG-5: Activate pneumatic suspension, VTOL up/down for standing/crouching, Trim up/down for forward/backward lean
AG-6: Deactivate suspension
AG-7: Lift the track maintenance hatches
AG-8: Lower the Mine Plow on the front of the tank (Optimal operation for mine plowing is a forward lean, crouched position, plow in DOWN position)
LandingGear: Raise/lower the PLR
Pitch: Forward/Reverse movement
Roll: Hull traverse

The side skirts can be lifted for easy access to the tracks. (Note that there is a bug with the treads presently, I am unable to fix that)
”NO STEP” labels on important components.
”WARNING: ONLY USE JP-4, JP-5, DIESEL, OR UNLEADED GASOLINE. OTHER FUELS MAY RESULT IN ENGINE FIRE.” fuel tank warning label.
Top view of the tank, you can see the “A 21” designating this tank as Alpha Co, 21st tank.
Still able to aim in the most awkward of positions.
FB-4401-A2 APS in action, destroying incoming ATGMs
- Turret will try to rotate to point in the direction of motion when the vehicle moves (Unable to fix)
- Gyro lock does enable the turret to be fully locked in place, but the turret will wobble (Unable to fix)
- FB-4401-A2 APS is NOT 100% reliable. Do not deploy when turret is FACING the direction of the incoming projectile
- THERE IS A LABEL TITLED “OwO wat dis?” HIDDEN SOMEWHERE ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE TANK. TAKE A SCREENSHOT WHEN YOU FIND IT AND DM ME ON DISCORD FOR EARLY ACCESS TO MY NEXT BUILD: TheSpartanAmongUs#6278
