A-7 variant

   PhantomBladeCorp, ChichiWerx, DeezDucks, EternalDarknezz, Dimkal
              THANK YOU for Testing/Feedback/Help/Massage

[Luftwaffe night fighter with a sophisticated design, advanced VHF-band intercept radar, ejection seats and first operational German tricycle LG]

Controls:
1 - Front guns
2 - Musik Guns (Also activates the gyro for stable flight)
VTOL DOWN - Flaps
TRIM - Trimming
7 - Pylons
8 - Nav Lights on/off

Features:

  • Blueprints, Specs, Flight Model from WarThunder
  • Turn Rate increased by 25% (Testers complained that realistic performance is not fun in SP. 22 seconds for a 360 turn, instead of 30. Roll, Max Speed, Acceleration, Climb Rate are 100%)
  • Perfectly stable at max speed (310mph) at sea level
  • "Schräge Musik" guns installed, despite crews tendency to remove them.
  • Pylons are not historical accurate, never present on the real thing. It was a night fighter used in scramble defense missions. No need for fuel tanks or bombs/rockets. Still, for fun in the game, you can attach extra payload

Very cool plane, may actually be one of my favorites now, its so weird but I love it. Out of curiosity what did you base the colour scheme off? I really like the Norwegian shields on the tail but I can't find any historic ones on google images to say which squadron it was from.

@BogdanX could you make a T-38 Talon as a short and easy build or a Nikitin-Shevchenko IS, which could be a fun challenge. No pressure, but I would really like to see either or both of them.

You should make a Boeing 747 ACC, it’s really off topic but it’s one of the most odd planes but you would be the first Pearson to make one.

That's pretty cool. I'll be watching you for future builds. Keep up the good work. And I so wish I had trim for everything, pulling off long maneuvers like gradual banks would be so much easier. @BogdanX

Alright, let me start off by saying that I know nothing about making a replica in SimplePlanes, nor anything about this plane in real life. So let me begin, first off amazing attention to detail, well done on the aesthetics. I've spent maybe a good hour trying to find a flaw in this plane's controls. Nothing, literally nothing. Sure it veers to the right slightly on the runway but a touch from the well tuned yaw will pull it straight back onto course. The pitch and roll work well for this plane's intended role, giving it maneuverability but also being very stable. Using a careful combination of trim and roll I was able to keep this thing at maybe a 40-85 degree bank at 20ft above the water, max throttle. I was able to do laps around Yeager and bandit airport without any trouble, the occasional wing striking the water at my own ineptitude but even then, a quick input from the flaps and it pulls right out. This plane is well constructed and thought out, and I want to say very well done @BogdanX . Between the low part count and the maneuverability, I think I've found my new favorite plane to mess around with. Oh and it'll deal with a 200mph side wind with heavy gusts. Nicely done, nicely done indeed.
