Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero
Historic replica 1:1 of the Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero Model 21, allied reporting name "Zeke".
|| Read instructions below description ||
The A6M was the main fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy, used as a land-based or carrier-borne aircraft. It was a multirole fighter designed to be capable of anything, from land support to Tokkotai plane.
The A6M2 was the first mass produced version of the Zero and it was the best dogfighter in the world until 1943, fast, extremely manieuvrable, easy-to-flight and cheap to produce, it was a nightmare to the USA pilots until the end of 1942 when introduction of new tactics and planes make the Zero less efective.
This one is painted with the schemes of the Tainan Kokutai, pilot Saburo Sakai (Hero of war and one of the best Japanese pilots of the history, if not the best), based in Formosa (Taiwan) on 1942.
This is the most realistic plane i've ever made, matches all the specifications of the Real Zero... i think is the best A6M2 replica. Enjoy as much as i do!! :D
// Instructions \
- Press AG1 to activate navigation lights.
- Press AG7 to detach the ventral fuel tank.
- VTOL controlls the Flaps.
- It can land on the Aircraft carrier, but this is a land-based Zero, so it has not an arrestor.
To land in it you must fly under 70mph and use full flaps, it should land smoothly. - To take-off (from land or carrier) you must use full throtle and set flaps down to the first mark (50%), it takesoff very nicely.
- Have fun!!
