5th Gen Cockpit (With head tracking lock-on)

67.5k Sarpanitu  4.1 years ago

This cockpit was designed to give the pilot an advantage via vision tracking missile lock-on while having enough detail to remain immersive with a low enough part count to remain functional. I believe it has a healthy balance and will compliment jet fighter builds. To install the cockpit on an existing creation, make the creation a subassembly, download the cockpit and drag your creation into place. Alternatively you can build with this cockpit as the main starting point. (CAREFUL NOT TO CLIP THROUGH OR MIRROR THE COCKPIT) AG8 to disable head movement.

@bruhmander69420 maybe try checking your game vertion/updating it because in my vertion, this method works just fine. Or maybe just try building the plane under the cockpit, if you dont feel doing all that (the second method is what i did tho XD)

To add it as a subassembly :- select the cockpit (only) >
    go to XML editor >
    cockpit option >
edit "primaryCockpit = True" to primaryCockpit = False" >
click the tick at the corner to exit >
(do not deselect the cockpit) go to connections >
    Click autoconnect.
You are now free to move the whole thing to subassembly :)
