This build has been originally made for my flight model tutorial. I could have built an empty shell, but I continued working on this build to a level which satisfies me. Apart from the flight model, it incorporates interesting features. It's an aircraft I kinda like, maybe because I like aircraft with long straight wings, and this is one of the few business jets that were built with straight wings, as swept wings have been generalized for better performance. I have specifically built an early Citation V in order to build an analog cockpit and use the standard gauges ; some gauges may be not be accurate because I wanted to save parts, like the engine parameters, but these gauges still shows accurate information. The cabin contains working folding tables, like the King Air. The biggest challenge on this build was the main landing gear wells, which forced me to calculate the size of several fuselage sections in order to perfectly keep the shape of the wing. Hopefully it will be easier to do in SP2 !
Key features:
- Realistic flight model
- Interior and cockpit with accurate indications
- Basic systems simulation and logics, with a simplified startup sequence
- Engine sound design
- Engine core lock simulation*
*Engine seizing if the airflow is not sufficient or laminar ; for example, it can happen if you fly at high altitude and reach a high slip angle or angle of attack.
Instructions are included in-game.
The aircraft is set with fuel tanks filled at 50% (2h+ flight), but you can edit them to 100% if you want.
By the way, ignore the "Your engines aren't getting enough air" message.

The Cessna Citation V
The Cessna 560 Citation V is a light business jet produced by the Cessna aircraft company, which is a development of the Cessna Citation S/II (model 550, which is derived from the 500), the major difference being the longer (+1.5 ft) fuselage. It made its first flight in 1987, and between 1989 and 2011 around 700 aircraft were built. With a MTOW of 15,900 lb (7212 Kg), it can accommodate up to 7 passengers, and fly up to distances of 3630 km, powered by 2 Pratt & Whitney JT15D. Several upgraded versions were designed after the original Citation V ; the Citation Ultra, launched in 1994 with improved engines and a new EFIS system, the Honeywell Primus 1000 ; the Citation Encore, launched in 2000 with new PW535 engines, a new landing gear and increased fuel capacity ; finally, the Citation Encore+, introduced in 2007 with a new EFIS system, the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21.
Finally, here is some screenshots taken in the SP2 demo playtest:

@Jmestes @RSH10Thunderbeam Thanks
@SilverStar This is great! Keep up the work!
this is crazy work
@SilverStar thanks
@Funnyball098 They are not supposed to
Very very few players take the time to make working screens because it's complicated, it takes time and it reduces performances a lot. If you want to use some, maybe you would like to check out my King Air.
@SilverStar the screens don't work
@Funnyball098 "Electronic" ? Which ones (yep, each instrument have a name) ? Only the gauges and some indications lights are animated...
@SilverStar I forgot to mention that all the electronic avionics don't work
@SilverStar I follow everything in the instructions
@Funnyball098 They work, if you follow the procedures correctly or at least with the battery on. Then, I don't know what are you doing as I don't have more information about your problem.
@SilverStar every avionics
@Funnyball098 Which ?
@ollielebanania ohh....
@SilverStar why the avionics don't work?
@SuperSuperTheSylph went straight up, then straight down, then stall
@ollielebanania h o w
@GuianLorenzo thank u
@SuperSuperTheSylph I'm a bad pilot
nice plen
@GoldenSidewinder Okay, thanks anyway
@SilverStar guy from the SP2 server
@GoldenSidewinder Who is HABU ? this name sounds familiar but I don't remember
Greetings from HABU @SilverStar
@SilverStar oh okay
admittedly it even flies like a fighter jet :))
@SuperSuperTheSylph Yep, kinda.
