@BagelPlane I adjust the 'Smooth' section of the paint menu very precisely to have just the right metallic shine. Otherwise certain parts might be having graphical glitches for you.
How do you keep the paint from being glossy and shiny? I'm trying to build a sub, but the paint shows up glossy and reflective from certain angles. Your subs don't. My paint is set exactly the same, but still shows up different.
