M-9K Stealth Aircraft

1,357 Northsoutheastthrop  11 months ago

The M-9K is a fictional stealth plane made by Northsoutheastthrop aviation. This is my first plane with panelling. Its front nose is reminiscent of the F-22 fighter jet, while the Horizontal stabilizers are to hide the engine heat signature (just like the F-35). Its engines are exposed for easy maintenance, just like the Russian planes. I made this plane in collaboration with @RifqiRazandy
The controls are
AG 1: Activate Afterburner
AG 2: Open Internal Weapons Bay
AG 3: Arresting Hook (For emergency purposes only)
AG 4: Activate external lights
AG 5: Refueling Probe
You can also install external weapons, ALTHOUGH the plane will not be fully stealth. The Red pylons are for bombs or Drop Tanks while the orange pylons are for Missiles

Performance: The roll and pitch rate are incredibly slow at normal and low speeds, which is a bit annoying. The acceleration is really unrealistic and kinda kill the fun for me, try to make acceleration of the plane slower in future builds. I also miss the ability to use flaps or trim, making it hard to land. (2/15 points)
    .
Design: The design looks pretty cool, I like the canopy design allot. Your plane does look a little bland, though. I think it is because it is all a really dark shade of grey or pretty much just black. I dislike the placement of the landing gear placement. The front and main landing gear are miles apart from each other. The intake/body design don't look that stealthy because it is missing some sharp or really smooth angles. I like how to insides of the exhaust looks. (3/10 points)
    .
Build Quality: The lack of custom control surfaces is noticeable. The same exact thing goes for the landing gear. I also do not see details such as the weapon bay doors or anything like that. The decals that you did add are nicely nudged into place, nice job on that. (3/10 points)
    .
Description: I miss a little backstory of the plane, like a story on why and how it was made. The controls are listed clearly. It just lacks some nice fancy text. (2/7.5 points)
    .
Personal Impression: It reminded me of allot of stealth plan,e which I thought was pretty cool. (1.5/5 points)
