Falken K.47B Bichinho
History
The Falken K-47 was a speedy heavy fighter which could also be used for ground attack or recon missions, the crew consisted of a pilot and a gunner/radio operator, and the aircraft was equipped with a radio and an oxygen supply for both crew members, it was a really advanced aircraft for it’s time.
The K-47 had an all-metal construction, featuring gull wings for better aerodynamics and an H-tail for better field of view for the gunner, with the naval variant, K.47B, being equipped with pontoons. It proved to be a really good aircraft, having good handling for a plane that size and being well liked by the mechanics for it’s ease of maintenance. Two variants were made, K-47A, the army variant, and K.47B, the navy variant. It served until 1939, when it was retired because of the war.
The Abaian War
The Abaian war, named after the sea which it began, started in 1931 when an Estian destroyer got lost and wandered into Felkan waters, being intercepted by a Felkan cruiser, which had a long story of being enemies with Estio. They got really close and the Felkan crew started shouting insults at the Estian battleship, they did too, and this went on for about 5 minutes when a Felkan sailor fired one of the ship’s main guns at the destroyer, which responded by sinking the Felkan cruiser. This caused Felka to retaliate by sinking an Estian aircraft carrier and a destroyer which were performing an exercise, the destroyer being the one who sunk the Felkan cruiser. This then escalated into a full blown war, which only ended one year later, in 1932, when Estio finally surrendered, and although they didn’t loose any territory, the defeat caused a huge blow in the country’s morale. This was one of the major factors for the start of WW2, which started when Estio, still salty about the defeat 7 years ago, attacked various Felkan air bases.
Crew
Chico “Chiquinho” Machado was the pilot of this K.47B and Oscar “Avestruz” Melo was the gunner/radio operator, they served in the Abaian War and World War 2 and survived, they retired shortly after WW2 and remained best friends for the rest of their lives.
Chico and Oscar customized their K.47B by painting it with a flashy blue and Felkan markings in the wings and tail and swapping the rear MGs for a 20mm cannon, which they got after salvaging it from a beached Felkan ship they found, they then named the K.47 “Bichinho”. (Which means little animal in portuguese) ((the translation sounds weird, I know))

Hey guys, I forgot about a throttle stick for the cockpit, so if you want to fly this in VR you will need to add one yourself
Yay, finnaly, aftwr 3 months i found a good aircraft with a world in my countrys language, the Portugese. Yes im Portuguese, not brazilian :D
Dude that's literally my middle name Falken even worse my first name is Tidus weird.......but i like my name even came from final fantasy.....
Falken hmmm that name seems familiar….
Alright, I’m gonna watch it @Tsuchiisan
Thank you! @DeezDucks
@Jabuticaba23 ay sure there ya go
Thanks again! @Kroixo
@Jabuticaba23 Makes sense the thing about the fixed guns. Idk why but i just hate when they shoot while im using another weapon, still i understand. I could not tell that you were not use to making float planes tbh. This one is sick!
It looks like an interesting anime, I will be sure to watch it! @Tsuchiisan
Thanks! So yeah, I’m still pretty new to float planes, I will make sure to add a way to steer in the water next time, and about the wing gun, the Army version has twin rear Mgs, although it’s kinda buggy, and also, I made the fixed guns shoot while Ag-1 is activated for convenience, because I thought it would take too long to deactivate Ag-1 and go to pilot view to dogfight @Kroixo
This is truly a fun plane to play around with! There are however a few things i would add/change. Firstly there is no way to control the plane when it is in water. A fin to steer yaw control while in water would be great. Also i think that it works better with a wing gun instead of a canon for the turret (thats just my opinion though). And one last thing i noticed is that the fixed guns in the wings still shoot when the turret gun is activated. You can put -Activate1 in the activationsgroup of the wingguns so they dont shoot while using the turret. Still great build with good detail!
oh yeah, that’s because the gyros don’t work well with low physics, sorry about that. they are inside the seats, so if you want you can remove them @Yourlocalhuman
Cool plane, but when we bail out it shakes so much that i want to vomit.
é, eu tive dificuldade pra lembrar como fazer isso aí, valeu @Dragoranos

hey @DeezDucks, sorry for bothering you again but there was an error when uploading and this craft isn’t marked as sucessor, could you make it a sucessor to this challenge, please?
