Righty, my take on the venerable Hawker Hurricane IIC. Vtol down controls flaps (60%), brake controls last 20% of flaps, essentially the airbrake bit). Flies nicely. Trim on elevator. Be warned there may well be some variants to come =)
Oops I forgot this beauty :)
@Trainzo thanks, glad you like it.
Very nice replica. Great job.
@RamboJutter I get shiny parts when I stretch them too far, the game gets kind of funny about parts bigger than 10 blocks long. No idea why. Whatevs, this thing is awesome, keep it up.
@F104Deathtrap strange, I saved this one as the iid before editing it. I thought it was just the parts count that was slowing it down but mby not. Yeah the texture glitching is annoying, I think it's to do with the orientation of the parts so I'm stuck with it. Thanks for looking into it though.
@RamboJutter The new one you posted? I'll check it out. The weird thing is that it loads into the builder easy as pie. Darn shame too, looks like you spent a ton of time on it and she looks gorgeous. Not to mention this is probably the most important allied fighter in the European theatre when you consider its role in the Battle of Britain.
-Edit- The Hound loads and flies fine. The Mk2d loads s l o w l y (sometimes crashes) but flies just fine. Quite a bit of texture glitching, (shiny parts, jittering etc) but the shapes and flight model are so excellent
@F104Deathtrap I wonder Why, it works fine on my pc, it does take a while to load but other than that no problems. I don't even know what I could have done to cause that issue, does the successor load?
Plane crashed the game when I tried to fly it. It even automatically deleted it. Looks great tho.
@88blaroo mine is an iPhone 6. Can run planes with 1000 parts pretty smoothly...so I don't have a problem with any planes less than 2000 😂
@RamboJutter dang@AdlerSteiner an old iphone 4
@88blaroo ive re-built it / stripped it of excess parts that i used to make the camo etc but its still nearly 500 parts.....
@RamboJutter nah don't worry bout it. As long as its a great replica
@AdlerSteiner well if that's the worst you can pick up... I can slope the canopy sides no problem, the rear section is more difficult.
@88blaroo oof what phone do you have?
Oh...tha...that's just not the problem...the whole side part of the cockpit is suppose to be slanted
@RamboJutter the real life hurricane has that slant on the rear canopy
@AdlerSteiner what rear canopy? And slanted how?
@AdlerSteiner i can only run up to 400 parts@RamboJutter
And my phone 📱 can run 🏃 any 1000 part count build...but this one only has 600 parts...and small size! So 😐 it's a good 😊 pretty good 🛫 plane.
The uhhh rear canopy needs to be slant
@88blaroo mby, but I'll have to remove the camo, the cockpit and probably the control surfaces, so don't know if it would be worth it. What's the max parts you need for it to be mobile friendly?
