Tbh it's rather rudimentary but at 161 parts, I believe it's more than adequate for use on the M42E2 Alopix II Enhanced Main Battle Tank. Building this thing took me more or less the larger part of a typical summer SimplePlanes workday, and I beleive the result is quite nice. It's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but I don't care, it's good enough for me and now I basically have access to an MG3 in SPRPs so yeah, that's nice.

The Maschinengewehr 18 is a license-produced modification of the MG3, manufactured by United Arsenal. Its first appearance was on the M42E2 Alopix II, in use as the crew-operated weapon systems to which both the commander and gunner have access in the event that such weapons are needed. A pair of MG18s were originally planned to server as the coaxial armament however the decision was made to instead use a single 12.7mm machine gun.
