Hello! Many of you likely know me already, either from my long tenure as a moderator and community member of Juno: New Origins, or as a brief moderator on simpleplanes.com a few years ago. But for those of you who don't:

Hi, I'm Dorian. I've been playing Jundroo games for about the past ten years, and have been close with the team for about five years, mainly as a volunteer moderator for the Juno website. I love these games and I love seeing the things other people make.

As you might be able to tell based on my conspicuous new tag, though, we've taken a new step beyond just volunteer moderation. As of this post, I am now Jundroo's Community Manager. This is an incredibly meaningful development to me and a great honour, and I'd like to outline some of what this means for us and you, the wonderful community that plays our games.

1. I will be coordinating the moderation effort on simpleplanes.com, simplerockets.com, and the official SimplePlanes 2 Discord server.

2. I'll be acting as a bridge to facilitate communication between the community and the dev team, such as posting dev updates or answering questions (when I am qualified to answer them).

3. I hope to use this as an opportunity to host more official community events, such as challenges, tournaments, or SP2 multiplayer events. To that end, feel free to comment anything you'd like to see; this is a community-focused task and I'd love to hear your ideas.

Lastly, this role will likely evolve as time goes on and we get closer to SP2's release and I settle in. I'm very strongly looking forward to engaging with you all, I'm very lucky to have this role and I want to make the best I can of it. For now, I'll see you all around :)
