  • Proof of concept: Flying Wing with no vertical surfaces 4.1 years ago

Lol im working on a proof of concept for a flying wing using funky trees too, looks very similar. Im using angle of slip but its becoming clear i also need to incorporate slip rate and roll/ roll rate as well

  • F-14D Super Tomcat 4.1 years ago

    Thanks! @ACEPILOT109

  • F-14D Super Tomcat 4.1 years ago

I have plenty of free time at the moment lol what do you need? @Nerfaddict

  • F-14D Super Tomcat 4.1 years ago

@goboygo1 thanks! i think it also helps that i stopped being lazy and figured out how to upload with screenshots lmao

  • Rolls-Royce LiftSystem 4.1 years ago

Dude its onthe site, its 1.9.205 @Thisairplanesucks

  • Rolls-Royce LiftSystem 4.1 years ago

If youre not on the latest version it wont work @Thisairplanesucks

  • Rolls-Royce LiftSystem 4.1 years ago

Activator 3, VTOL DOWN, pitch up (down arrow key) @Thisairplanesucks

  • Rolls-Royce LiftSystem 4.1 years ago

    Its in the description @Thisairplanesucks

  • Automatic Leading Edge Slats 4.2 years ago

    Thanks! Much appreciated! @CRJ900Pilot

  • Automatic Leading Edge Slats 4.2 years ago

As long as the COM isn’t too far ahead or behind from where the slats are attached, they do function! @CRJ900Pilot

  • Automatic Leading Edge Slats 4.2 years ago

Yea you would unfortunately. I had to redonthe wings for all the planes i retrofit these slats and it was a real pain lol @ArcturusAerospace

  • Automatic Leading Edge Slats 4.2 years ago

The hinge already has the code you need. Just attach it to the main wing of your airplane and on the moving end attach the slat surface. @ArcturusAerospace

  • Automatic Leading Edge Slats 4.2 years ago

@ArcturusAerospace you can! just take the hinge part and save it to your sub assemblies. if you remove one of the slats, you'll see it

  • F-15SE Silent Eagle 4.2 years ago

Sure but im not sure what you mean exactly? This is a real aircraft- Boeing made one of these im pretty sure @Wheatman1

  • Funky Trees Challenge 4.2 years ago

Am I able to enter a second submission? I have an expression for fully automated leading edge slats id love to share.

  • F-35B (VTOL) 4.2 years ago

Yea you need to be on at least 1.9 i think. The earlier versions dont support funky trees expressions @TitanIncorporated

  • Rolls-Royce LiftSystem 4.2 years ago

@CRJ900Pilot Thanks! glad you found it easy after all!

  • F-35B (VTOL) 4.2 years ago

@TitanIncorporated are you on the latest version? (1.9.205)

  • F-18C Hornet 4.2 years ago

Its the same button. Maybe funkytrees requires you have physics set to high. @TitanIncorporated

  • F-35B (VTOL) 4.2 years ago

Are you on high physics my dude? @TitanIncorporated

  • F-35B (VTOL) 4.2 years ago

    Check de description @TitanIncorporated

  • F-35B (VTOL) 4.2 years ago

@99807 @UFNNICF5TF Thanks! I hope yall were found the VTOL easy too

  • F-22 Raptor 4.2 years ago

@Wheatman1 ummm its expected behavior. at high speed + low altitude pitch input may induce some wobble through the fly-by-wire. realistically, you wouldnt be pulling a hairpin turn at mach 1.5 though. you can reduce the likelyhood of this happening by increasing "PitchRate" in the elevon inputs to say 300 or 400- however, this will reduce the stability slightly

  • F-22 Raptor 4.2 years ago

@Wheatman1 is your physics on high? or are you taking supersonic turns at low altitude?

  • F-22 Raptor 4.2 years ago

@Mustang51 @BogdanX thanks! Its gone through a couple dozen iterations now lol every time theres a SP update i find myself going back to all my builds to incorporate the latest features

  • F-35A Lightning II 4.3 years ago

Lol not bad at all eh? @Subnerdica

  • F-22 Raptor 4.3 years ago

    Thank you :) @goboygo1

  • F-22 Raptor 4.5 years ago

@DimitriIqbal91 make a thin thin fuselage cylinder (.1 diameter) and attach it to a rotator, then attach a panel to the side of the cylinder. thats the gist of it.

  • Sukhoi SU-57 Improved 6.3 years ago

as always, great plane. heads up though, i do notice that the right landing gear panel doesnt retract like it did in your last one!

  • F-22 Raptor 7.6 years ago

I place the rotators on the body, attach the stabilizers, and then nudge the rotators into the body and nudge the stabilizer in too. You can also try disabling collision in the xml file @Supercraft888

  • F-35A Lightning II 7.6 years ago

Only the B variant. The A and the C do not @xXBE3STXx

  • Dassault Rafale 7.6 years ago

    Yes @EarthwormJim

  • F-35A Lightning II 7.6 years ago

F-35B is has VTOL, not the F-35A @xXBE3STXx

  • F-35A Lightning II 7.6 years ago

Ayyeeeee maybe. Im not really good at vtols but its about time i gave it a go again @Aerobako

  • F-22 V-2 WIP: Mod Request 7.6 years ago

Looking great! Lemme know if you still need help with this

  • JAS-39 Gripen 7.6 years ago

Ughh :( i thought i had located it just right this time around @Viper28

  • Weapon pack 1 7.6 years ago

@Shipwright Yea just figured it out lol. thanks! How did you attach the 500lb bombs to the missiles? Company secret?

  • Weapon pack 1 7.6 years ago

Hey these look great! I'm having trouble getting these to work though. I assume the ones that you say require a lock are guided. However, I obtain a lock, press 1, and they fall like dumb bombs. Am I missing something?

  • F-35A Lightning II 7.6 years ago

Ok lol you got my attention @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

  • F-35A Lightning II 7.6 years ago

Youre thinking of the F-35B @SimpleFlow

  • Volkswagen Golf Mk.1 7.6 years ago

love it! i own a mk6! great little car!

  • SR-71 BLACKBIRD 7.6 years ago

    Looks odd

  • SR-71 Blackbird 7.7 years ago

    Up (slider on the left)@WaffleAircrafts

  • F-16 Falcon 7.7 years ago

Thanks! Btw i also loved your performance in "The Carrot" @TheStapler

  • Rafale 7.7 years ago

Yes i had to scale down the engines and landing gear. Also to cant the canards. @EarthwormJim

  • F-15 Eagle 7.7 years ago

    @Sunnyskies @SHCow 1.8 should get you there

  • F-15 Eagle 7.7 years ago

I tired that with my f-22 and i was within a foot in all 3 dimensions! However it did not fly well at all. I think that may be the final frontier for me though!@Sunnyskies

  • Rafale 7.7 years ago

I found that changing the canard surfaces to semi-symmetric adddresses this while maintining relaxed stability. @Sarpanitu

  • F-22 Raptor 7.7 years ago

thanks for the upvotes and spotlights!

  • JAS-39 Gripen 7.7 years ago

@BogdanX my bad forgot to mention to use the trim at low speeds
