I can tell you the Actua exact reason, the aircraft you are using is at least easy to control for the AI and the Ai is programmed to try its best to point directly at its target, and will only miss if its plane is slightly unstable, and after that it will circle back to try to point at the target again. but i will admit i have never seen a tanker kamikaze anything, usually you set it on a vector and it flies that vector perfectly.
@SpeedDemon23 i will post a tutorial in th forums and link you too it, until then look at some of the FT codes i have created for using all-moving tail surfaces
as a heads up it is darn near impossible to get this plane to mach three at specified altitudes, changiing the Scramjet startup minimum speed to 1000 instead of 1030 allows you to engage at slightly below and then make it fairly easy to transition to hypersonic flight
i am not sure its possible, once a weapon has been disconnected from the main cockpit cotrolled parts, it becomes uncontrollable, best you could do is attackh a winch with a massive speed and length to connect the two together, and that is the only way a weapon becomes useful after disconnect
this is my favorite plane for many reasons, but it has only one minor issue with psm, Yaw causes the plane to roll as well and yaw is also fairly weak, not allowing a pugachevs cobra very easially,
Sometimes a plane on low physics wil do a weird glitch like that, the only way to make it better is to either fly faster, or make the plane less maneuverable, my v-823-90 had a similar issue
@Australianbulider676 The rotator directly attached to the crank arm for your engine has a variable setter that broadcasts its current rotation angle, you set that variable to a custom name and set the input of the rotator directly attached to the wheels to match that orientation
@Novaxomix i did the math and according to your explanation and the stats i see your plane must weigh 1.48 pounds, accordng to you lbf rating compared to its thrust to weight rating
@AEGIS you have a few options, you can use a winch like the ones used in https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/56aL9q/Modern-Torpedoes-Pack, but they need to be started up, you need to increase their max range a LOT as well as their speed, just to make sure the winches don't break while in use, you will need to start them up a while before launching the missile. Another option is adding a cockpit(NOT MAIN), this will allow complete independent control if done right. For control, gyroscopes will force your missile to maintain a perfect nose up orientation, but you can use this to your advantage by using rotators to rotate the missile around the gyroscope., to make sure your missile stays in the air while it is flying, you need to add massive wings, you can make these weightless then scale them down, make sure that the wings are symmetrical airfoils, otherwise your missile will want to fly into oblivion and crash your game(had to learn that the hard way).
@Griffon1 i do not expect it to fire on its own, but what i want is something that does a strafing run, flying away an around so as to be a difficult target to shoot at. but thanks for the help!!!

+2@LieutenantSOT yes but finetuner has a more precise input than usual, and overload uses scaling as well, and you can turn off aircraft collisions

+1my V-11 that i built a while ago might work, it has been a long time since i have tested it though, and SP loves changing how things perform on me.
