ME-66 "Peto"

Auto Credit Based on MAHADI's WWII Jets Challenge! (CLOSED)

In year of 1942 Messerschmitt's best engineers hit up their head with the best of finnish air force guys!

Outcome was one prototype of ME-66, codename "Peto" (Beast).

They started all over, from empty table and brought all their crazy ideas together.
ME-66 received very strange aerodynamics and control systems, which are not optimized in prototype.

Only two crazy finnish pilots were willing to test it..

"Peto" was armed with two 7.62mm MG, two 75mm Autocannons and 6x Anti tank rockets.

ME-66 didn't see real fights since germany surrendered and only prototype built was scrapped because new, better jets were introduced.

AG7 drag chute

Otherwise basic controls.

(this is meant to be kinda clumsy plane since WW2 jets and for sure prototypes were funky!)

Hope u enjoy!

this is completely fiction

@MAHADI well if they had mechanisms to use them and give more power to control surfaces, it would have been possible if anyone just knew or thought about streamlined control surfaces! There is so many ways to make it happen, for real in WWII era but since i didnt explain precisely my idea or the mechanics, it is completely up to you what you are gonna do with my entry! No hard feelings you know?

@Thueerra hatches and bomb bay doors can not be compared with control surfaces. because control surfaces are aerodynamic.

@MAHADI yeah i thought about that too but then i thought, there were hatches and bomb bay doors etc. So in my own opinion, it is not too fictional! But ofc, you are the judge and you decide!

this plane is way too fictional. I don't think there were control surfaces like this back in the WWII era.
