The ER-7 Overseer is an unmanned, optionally human-controlled AWACS developed in Federation of Gilead and in service of the TFM forces.

LORE

Developed in the year 202X, the Overseer is an unmanned, optionally human-controlled AWACS. The Overseer fulfills conventional AWACS role, such as boistering situational awareness for friendly force and battle management platform, while being crewed remotely or even, fully automated by the aircraft's own AI.

Developed amidst mass automatization in the Federation of Gilead, the ER-7 was initially met with skepticism by the military and the public, raising concerns about giving AI control over military hardware. Fortunately, the development of AI, its safeguards and limitations are parallel to each other, quelling the concern of any possible rogue AI outbreak. Thus, the Overseer entered service.

The ER-7, aside from its plethora of sensors and radars, is equipped with a strategy-specialized, intelligent AI named Battle Fairy. The AI is made to be capable of making strategic decisions, choosing the most efficient and effective solutions to problems met in the battlefield and forming stratagems for friendly forces to follow. However, the aircraft is rarely used in its fully autonomous mode, the reason being that human involvement is still necessary for more critical and unexpected developments in the battlefield.

SIREN WAR

In the Siren War, the Overseer has been one of the main AWACS of the TFM forces. However, following the development of new warp detector radar, the ER-7 found itself as one of the compatible platform to test the new devices. Now, the Overseer have gained the ability and role to detect any warp activity done by incoming Siren vessels.
