The Horten H.IX, RLM designation Ho 229, was a German prototype fighter/bomber. It was the first pure flying wing powered by jet engines.
The design was a response to Hermann Göring's call for light bomber designs capable of meeting the "3×1000" requirement; namely to carry 1,000 kilograms of bombs a distance of 1,000 kilometers with a speed of 1,000 kilometers per hour.
Since the appearance of the B-2 Sp pirit flying wing stealth bomber in the 1990s, its similarities in role and shape to the Ho 229 has led many to retrospectively describe the Ho 229 as "the first stealth bomber". Later testing by the U.S. military found that the basic shape, paint and laminating adhesive composition would only provide a 37% reduction in detection range against the British Chain Home radar of the 1940s, but no significant stealth benefit against most other contemporary radar systems.
This is a digitally remastered version of my previous Ho-229. I made it much more streamline and added that realistic look I strive to achieve. However, by doing so, it lost some performance and maneuverability compared to my initial Ho-229. It still flies great but has some yaw wiggle after performing tight maneuvers.
I really do not like reuploading the same plane but my hand was forced. The previous Ho-229 was released during the beta and was subsequently broken by this most recent update. This version works perfectly and has increased range!!

@Irobert55 Sorry, but you are mistaken. The plane had several designations. I used the German Air Ministry's (Reichsluftfahrtministerium) designation listed as the Ho-229. But you are correct in saying that the plane is also known as the Horton H.IX and the Gotha Go 229.
sorry guy the plane was dont named as ho-229. this plane has actually two names. the first comes from the constructors, the horten brothers and it was ho-9. the second one comes from the fabrik who should mass prudce the plane and was go-229. but super modeling.
I love this plane but it is not very responsive on my device.

@qwerty10 Oh I am well aware of that. However, to get any sort of performance out of it in this game's physics, I used ailerons and elevators.
@Scriefers Im sorry to tell you but this horton is not super historical the horton did not have flaps for rolling it had small airbrakes on both wings wich stopped the air flow on the wing and rolled the aircraft and thats why it had a slow roll rate.

@Dstroyer101 You are correct, the Ho 229 was designed as a rather small wooden jet fighter. It was also designed with a large nose wheel.
On war thunder I saw a variation of the Horten Ho that was smaller and had a HUGE front wheel... The size of the plane was around the size of a large car today, but I think the plane I'm talking about is of Japanese design... I'm not sure...
