Mitsubishi A12N ''Inazuma''

''With a clap of thunder and a flash of lightning the Whistling Death was no more.''

The year was 1944 and the Allies, more specifically the Americans had Air Superiority over the Pacific Theatre and were moving to take control of Japan. It had been almost three years since the F4U Corsair, now known to the Japanese as the whisling death had been introduced and dethroned the Zero as the superior fighter. When the Japanese Empire was about to lose all hope and resort to the use of Suicide Bombing tactics there came a breakthrough. Mitsubish finally managed to create an interceptor capable of out running and out manuvering any American fighter, and was equipped with the same deadly force as the infamous A6M Rei-sen. The japanese were no longer feared but soon they would be.

SPECS:
2x Nakajima NK12N Fujin 18 cylinder Two-Row Contra Rotating Radial Piston Engine developing 5,147 horsepower.

6x 3.6 mm achine guns

2x 45. Cal Heavy Machine guns

Instructions:

VTOL for trim (probably not needed)

TRIM for flaps (takeoff and landing only)

Takeoff/ landing instructions:

For carrier take off on USS Tiny pull flaps all the way down using trim slider and pull up as hard as you can.

For USS Beast pull flaps about halfway down and pull up as hard as you can.

Landing Instructions: Pull Flaps about halfway down and keep throttle at about 20-30% ANYTHING HIGHER THAN THAT WILL SURELY BLOW UP THE PLANE FROM THE SPEED. THIS LANDING GEAR IS NOT MEANT TO HANDLE 300 MPH AND HIGHER ON LANDING. Once level with the runway (or the ground) Cut the throttle and gently touch down. THERE YOU HAVE LANDED!

I sincerely appologise for the part count and will try to make it lower on my next build. As Always Enjoy and Leave an upvote and comment if ya like!

Credit: He said it wasn't needed but huge thank you to SpiritusRaptor for the cockpit instruments as I was too lazy to make my own.

''With a clap of thunder and a flash of lightning the Whistling Death was no more.'' That quote gives me chills. I’m gonna have nightmares about dogfighting in an F4U Corsair against this thing.

@CenturiVonKikie Nope, built this puppy from scratch, the most I'll ever use from someone else is small details for the outside of a plane, or cockpit instruments and weapons. I always make my builds from scratch, More importantly I always make sure to give credit where credit is due. Thanks for the upvote!

"And then the U.S. nuked the crap out of them....."

Also on a side note, the front view looks very similar to Rambojutter's Piere Drolet Viper. If you happen to have used that airframe (not saying that you did) it'll be nice if you credited him for it. This is a gorgeous build.
