[About Kawasaki Ki 45 kai hei]

Wikipedia
The Ki-45 Kai was a twin-engine, double-seat fighter developed by Kawasaki Aircraft industries for the Imperial Japanese Army.
Its development was based on the idea that a twin-engine fighter could combine good maneuverability with long cruising performance.
It made its first flight in 1941, and was formally adopted as a "Type 2 double-seat fighter" in 1942. However, its maneuverability was not high, and its performance was found to be insufficient against single-engine fighters. Therefore, it was also used for ground attacks.
Its most active use was in defense against bombing of the Japanese mainland.
The Ki-45 Kai did not originally have a nickname, but it was given the nickname "Toryu (meaning "dragon slayer" in English)" because of its appearance as it flew through the sky to defend its homeland from invading bombers.

The Hei-type has a 37mm machine gun as its nose armament. This made it a fighter designed for use against large aircraft.

[About the work]
The machine gun on the rear seat can be moved to match the direction of view when the viewpoint is switched to "gunner view".
The cockpit is roughly reproduced.
I don't have Simple Planes VR, so I haven't verified it. Sorry

I remember making a model kit of a ki-45 a long time ago. Very nice
May I use the rear machine gun mount in a plane i am making?

Yes, I build a variety of planes, but I also build planes that are a little less well known.
I will consider the J2M5 as a candidate the next time I make a Japanese military aircraft.
By the way, as a Japanese, I must say that the J2M5 "Raiden" may not be well known worldwide, but it is a very popular aircraft among Japanese aviation fans.

I love the fact that you mostly build planes that are kinda obscure and I feel that a J2M5 would go nicely with your catalog

Thank you for your compliments and appreciation. You compliment me a little too much and I am embarrassed.
There are many players of this game who create amazing works. I hope you will enjoy the works of various players and vote in favor of them. I will do the same.

    OK, I'll make both.
I guess it will take some time. I don't know if I can make a good piece... both have great builders making awesome pieces.

Honestly I appreciate the simplicity of the cockpits yeah nice detailed interiors are nice but I'd rather have it simple to keep parts down while being able to fly the only real thing I would like is an engine on/Off switch or a starter so it's not anchored to the throttle but I can't actually express how grateful I am to have good flying realistic and rather obscure aircraft that I like but I'd probably fly ones that I didn't like if you made them because they are so fun to fly and because of the lack of interiors I can actually use them as bots to have some nice dogfights Because of the detailed exterior so thank you Anton there's not alot of good VR aircraft for quest but you make the best in personal experience there's a few others but your the one who's aircraft i fly the most

    @AntonWings the D-model is good,
But, it would be better to see a B-model.

Thank you for your comment. I am so glad you like my work.
As you pointed out, my work is not that focused on the interior. My playing environment is mobile, so it is very difficult to do detailed modeling. Also, hydraulic related equipment and such would not make much sense to recreate in this game. Plus I am a bit lazy.
I will try my best to make good works in the future, and I will consider WW2 jets as a candidate for my work.

@AntonWings I, personally, prefer the B model. It just looks nicer with the razor back.

Honestly Anton you might not have the most interior decorated aircraft but in 1000% certainty I look forward to every one of your aircraft because of the realistic flight characteristics and detailed exterior and I honestly have all of your aircraft because of it I honestly want to make a suggestion for an aircraft the P-80 Shooting Star or P-59 Airacobra since they are WW2 jet fighters I would love to see and have them thank you for your amazing work and keep it up

Tei-type....It's a model with a diagonally placed machine gun. It's fine. Don't forget to remove the machine gun under the fuselage.

Thanks for the suggestion. Of these, I personally would like to make the P-51. Well, I may make a different one depending on my mood...is it the D model that you want me to make?

@AntonWings Nice! I'd suggest building a P-36 or P-40, aircraft that would have fought the Ki-45 early in the war!

In fact, the J1N2 "Irving" is an aircraft that I was not sure which one to build with this "Toryu". I would like to build a U.S. military aircraft next, so I will not build it right now, but I would like to build it someday.
