A-10 Thunderbolt

3,225 NateK225  7.5 years ago

A real military plane armed with interceptors, gauardians, and inferonos! Pretty unstable plane, but I tried to get the most detail as possible. Pitch up from the begining and once your at about 120-200 mph, press 1. It also has a cokpit that you can see out of so it's much easier to lanch missiles and fire your gun (Someone PLEASE tell me how you make cokpits with such detail because I have no clue how to do It, thanks!) Please leave an upvote if you liked it, it only take a few seconds out of your hopfully awesome days! Thanks SPC (Simple Planes Community) Enjoy the A-10 Thunderbolt!

and for your first few planes, its pretty good. however, the fuselage is too small, and the wings too long. You should've used more powerful engines. Try getting the Overload mod. It might be a little confusing at first, but you can scale engine power without going into XML files.

@NateK225 Oh it's just something the developers do sometimes to showcase people's builds. It puts your plane on the front page of the site, which draws more attention

@NateK225 Okay, I admit, that was more of a general summary of the design than just a color scheme...

@NateK225 Black, with yellow NASA logos. Small wings, a large squared-off rudder, triangular, F-16 style stabilizers. Similar overall design to a missile.

Awesome! Whats the color scheme of an X-15@MaximusTheMinimus

@NateK225 sure. An X-15 could be interesting to do. I've seen one in person so I know sort of what it looks like. We could make the plane unlisted and mention each other so we can get it. The final publication would be public, however.

Nice I can see the amount of effort put into the build note it would have been easier to use the standard cockpit and shift it inside abit to give the effect
