This is one of the rare fully functional ground effect vehicles in simple planes!
I started making a model of the AirFish 8 not quite believing it was gonna work on simple planes...but it turned out to behave just like the real one...hovering a few feet of the water and staying at the same altitude without the need of controlling it.
Select "water take OFF" or any other water location, throttle up and wait for it to take off automatically (around 70 mph) then turn it with ailerons and close the engine for it to land.
I don't normally say that but I think it deserves an upvote as finding the sweet spot between lift, weight, mass center, power and drag was quite difficult but in the end I managed to make ground effect work

@WindowsIsBad thats weird, I dont know if it has to do with the fact that when i made it simple plane physics were a bit different. Maybe try to stabilise with ailerons or increase throttle more gradually!
it constantly turns to the left for me so its harder to reach the 100 mph
@ProjectVideoGame not exactly, it is supposed to use ground effect in order to soar a few feet above the water, sometimes it may get unstable and fly but most of the times it works great!
