BACKGROUND
Initially designed in the early 60s as a medium weight, supersonic fighter/attack aircraft, it entered service capable of travelling at speeds exceeding 1000mph with a payload of 2 DeHavilland firestreak missiles as well as additional fuel tanks. It is powered by two, small diameter turbojets developed from the American J85 and is equipped with afterburner to achieve supersonic flight
