A bit too Convenient in my opinion

26.2k SPairforce  2 months ago

So uh, if anyone has seen the recent news regarding Boeing, I can't help but get the feeling that the whistleblower being dead, along with the timing, is a little too convenient for Boeing. Call me paranoid, but I don't think it was self-inflicted.

    For additional context, Boeing failed 33 out of 89 product audits from the FAA following the Alaska Airlines incident in which a door panel blew off mid flight. This was for the 737 Max.

    I’m only speculating for the record ok. It just seems like a very odd coincidence.

    The Whistleblower in question had worked for Boeing for 32 years until retiring in 2017. In the days before his death, he had been giving evidence in a lawsuit against the company. From 2010, he had worked as a quality manager at the North Charleston Plant making the 787. In 2019 he reported to the media that under-pressure workers had fit sub-standard parts onto production aircraft and he found problems with oxygen systems. He died of an apparent self-inflicted wound.

    @Mousewithamachinegun122 i don't really think it's a hitman that killed him, i think it's someone else, a person who had no relation to boeing.

    @TinyMaus
    I mean, his death is a bit convenient.
    Also, the words "Whistleblower" and "Self-Inflicted" typically don't go together.
