Lets say it, simpleplanes is slowly deing
If there ever will be an update or maybe a last one, id like to see some stuff that might make the game last longer.
campaign mode
Having something that might actually be challenging might be a savior for this game, it’s (let’s say it) a bit easy after a while and it is getting old fast. Having a limit on recourses will give us a reason to make designs that are more practical and fun.
Multiplayer integration
Yes, yes, a lot of people saw this one coming, this is the most requested one.
Multiplayer may be able to revive this almost dead game to full steam. And for the developers, more money to make more games. Computers are getting stronger, and can handle more people.
this counts for mobile.
Why mobile?
If you do not know, mobile technologies are advancing like mad. Phones 5 years ago had lag on 200 partcount, modern day phones can almost do 2000 without lag. Multiplayer is believe it or not, A viable addition.
update competition
To keep the game alive, you need progress, by holding a competition where multiple people make an addon/ modified version. The best one gets chosen and might be made official, it gives the community a raft to safe this game. And maybe improve it to the level of the best. a game that has a strong community, makes a stronger game.
some funky trees
The game is fun, but some things bother me.
First, we need to be able to disable the wobble on rotators, it fixes a lot of problems with well, anything moving.
Also winches need a PREVENT BREAKING funky tree, they’re useless and can’t lift anything, with this they might actually be useful.
more complex?
If this game is going to survive, you need more customization in the funkies.
More complex funky stuff is also needed, like benig able to change weapon inputs , like guns on cannon input and cannons on gun input. Also benig able to change what projectile/entity comes out would be fun too, imagine a gun that shoots rockets. Or a cannon that shoots aggressive ai bush planes.
Lastly, there are the things that bother me the most.
Not benig able to use decals (without labels)
Self explanatory
Not benig able to change the sound of the engines/parts/weapons.
A lot of creations might look amazing, but sound crap (no offense).Benig Able to edit idle sound and throttling, by importing them from your sound library (see blueprints) you can actually make your creation sound unique too.
Ai spawns/complexity
Why?
It makes the game more alive, benig Able to tag your creation with an ai labels might improve the game drastically. You choose what spawns, what it is (land/air/sea) and what it does.
Examples:
Airliner
Flies between airports, doesn’t do weird stunts
Civilian plane
Normal ai
Stunt plane
Flies in complex patterns and goes on air-racecourses
Militairy plane
Might attack when too close for too long
Car
Drives around islands or airports following a point map
Amphibious car
Does the same as the car, but also goes in water
Racecar
Spawns on circuits and drives on them
Small civilian boat
goes into shallow water following a Point map
Large Civilian boat
Far off-shore follows a simple A/B point map
Military vessel
Basic destroyer ai
Benig Able to make ai agressieve on default spawn would also be helpfull.

Good ideas! I also wish that the campaign mide was possible, here on android, with very limited things to do, its just boring as hell, also, lets not talk about multiplayers, people have said that the server struggles even when there is only 10 FRICKIN PEOPLE CONNECTED TO THE SERVER, Also again, the ai naming thing could be good... If it wasnt for the whole fact that you need to add those names you mentioned to make them do shenanigans

Implemented Multiplayer can infact work on SP. It's worked with a mod, why can't it work in the game? They can pay for the server bills, too, if they even have them.

For new features:
Gears: just imagine what this community can make of it.
Better Aero: or at least a better drag calculation method. Common, this is a plane game.
Scenario builder: people can build and share scenario, so players have more to do with their build.
Bug fix:
Remove the spin limit like in SR2 or LimitlessSpin integration.
The wheel grip model is just strange just like i elaborated here and here
Brake on wheel don't have input method.
Part wobble: fix it somehow IDK

And bring back tournaments
Before we go adding big stuff, the game needs to go through some spring cleaning. I've already made a road map for an update that does just that. Here's a quick rundown of it:
Simpleplanes 1.13: just the little things.
Fix bugs. Lots of bugs
Add as much quality of life stuff as possible
Rename mods to extra on mobile
Sort saved airplanes alphabetically
Update tutorials to show how fuselages work
Add In-game funky trees tutorial, snow left sp and his guides aren't being updated anymore.
In-game version of simplecheats II, I've stopped updating it and will make it open source soon
Allow exports of STL files
Allow weapons to have any input
Allow changing of the brake input on landing gear and wheels
Change the LandingGear input to be a boolean
Recompile the game so the Google play store doesn't block the game from being installed on newer devices
Add in-game disclaimers about mod support on mobile
On mobile, add a dedicated dev console button instead of having it be a 3 finger tap. A lag spike will make the console appear almost every time.
ALLOW UPLOADING PLANES WITH PHOTOS FROM YOUR LOCAL FILES.

Bring back best of all time on website
Bring back developer section in the users page
Allow changing physics settings on SPVR quest (with disclaimers and warnings)
And lots other smaller stuff
What if Python can be used as an alternative to Funky Trees. Because i learned that Funky Trees has similarities to Python like variable containers. What if Jundroo added a feature where you can type Python codes so you can mod parts. Python is easy to understand and there's a lot tutorial to choose from. Python language may create more complicated functions that the Funky Trees is not capable of; and because of this, it can bring more creative and complicated designs. Its not a big or exciting feature for most of the players in the community, but it will be very useful for those who want to be a future programmers or developers.
It will be cool if Jundroo added this feature and I am sure that Simpleplanes will be one of the best game to test your programming skills and it will earn fame to the existing programming communities. (sorry about the my english and the length maybe because I am being too excited)

Input for brakes in wheels !
Screens that can be connected to cameras would be nice, also maybe something like waves it's kinda boring sailing a ship and it's just steady and not like moving around or something
Edit: lights that light up an area would be nice especially for cockpits (when taking off at night), search lights for ships etc etc
MISSION EDITOR
IMO the biggest thing simple planes lacks is gameplay. Yeah youve got like 6 mini missions and a couple races, but really there is not alot of actual content. Most of the content is gotten from just building aircraft / dogfighting them with the default ai aircraft spawner. Something that would really help is a sort of a procedural mission system where you could set up fights with custom aircraft. This would be far more replayable than the simple "ww2 dogfight" or "bomber escort" ones.
On the topic of your suggestions, I think they're great but also quite tricky to implement. Stuff like adding multiplayer is no joke
A few things
1. Being able to train A.I to fly a plane better, not just telling it to 100% pitch when it noses down for a bit.
2. In fairness, the winch is able to carry at least 10 tons.
